This mod simply replaces the Hearthfire Trophy Room with a version that has an exterior deck for all three Hearthfire homes.

This mod simply replaces the Hearthfire Trophy Room with a version that has an exterior deck for all three Hearthfire homes.
The build process is exactly the same as vanilla with the following exception. While you build the exterior, instead of building "Trophy Room, Roof Framing," you now build "Trophy Room, Exterior Furniture" and are charged appropriately for the exterior items. These will appear once the exterior is complete.
Regarding the connecting bridges and/or deck railings:
The following provides advanced information about using console commands to spawn connecting bridges and/or railings between home wings. Those who do not understand how to use the console or do not understand the instructions below fully proceed at their own risk. Creating a save before using the console is suggested.
Templates of the connecting deck bridges and railing between wings have been buried below ground at each house location. To spawn the desired bridge or railing, use the console command TCL to disable collision, drop below the ground level and select the desired item. Make sure you select the correct object. Once it is selected, you can use the console command disable, and this will toggle the same item to spawn at the correct height above.

A: No. Hearthfire is notoriously a pain to work with, and due to the way it was created, it really wouldn't be feasable.

A: I made this mod for my personal use, but I am sharing it because others might be interested. I am not really a mod "author" and am unable to troubleshoot every load order. The mod only makes use of the vanilla Hearthfire mechanisms and therefore should be pretty compatible with everything unless it modifies the same Hearthfire records.
Q: "What if I already built the trophy room?"
A: You will not have the exterior door leading to the deck. The best practice is not to change mods during a playthrough, but if you have not yet built any trophy rooms, I do not foresee a problem in a current game.
