About this mod

The Leaf Rest mod has a player home right on top of the Riverwood Fishing location. This mod relocates the items from the Fishing CC to reasonable locations nearby.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
What is this mod? Leaf Rest adds a player home to Riverwood that is an essential part of my playthroughs. The Fishing CC adds fishing supplies, a book, and a fishing rod to the same location, making it impossible to fish there without console commands. I made a patch for personal use, and it was requested that I share it with others. It is an esl-flagged esp per the usual with patches.

What does this patch change? This patch does the following:
  • Move the fishing supplies from underneath some items from Leaf Rest to the dock/porch of Leaf Rest.
  • Moves the fishing rod and book to the small boat that is next to the dock.
It does not edit the fishing location, because I couldn't figure out how. In my experience, the default fishing location that I get spawned to works perfectly for Leaf Rest without editing anyway. It is a little bit away from the Fishing Supplies, but as I said I couldn't figure out how to make the change.

How do I install? No special instructions, just install this however you normally install mods. If you're not using Vortex or MO2 though, I can't help you with anything. Load it below Leaf Rest and Fishing.

Compatibility with Other Mods? Riverwood is a popular location for mods to add stuff. I can only comment on my own experience. I built this patch while having Expanded Towns and Cities with its corresponding Leaf Rest patch enabled, and nothing from that seemed to conflict.
If you are using T'Skyrim - Riverwood (which I used to use and still like), Geeknasty has made a patch already. It moves the Fishing stuff to a different location than I do.

Anything else I should know? I am not a mod developer and I have no development experience. I make personal patches all the time in SSEEdit, but this is one of only two patches I've made using CreationKit. This mod works for my game, and I can't imagine it would break anything in anyone's game (it literally just moves three objects slightly). But it can probably be improved upon by someone who actually knows how to use CreationKit. I don't plan on making any further changes, but if someone  uploads a better version I'll just redirect them to that.
