Very nice! Wanted to make my game a little bit fresh, and these are just great. I also like the text. It's interesting to read stuff on the loading screen. And so many images, wonderful!
because of the Subject.GetRandomPercent <= 100.000000 AND other loading screen mods can not show.
i now you add that to prevent vanilla loading screen to not show up but it make than other then your loading screen no other loading screen can show up. thanks. hope you have a good they. and sorry if can't talk good. it's not my first language.
This is really good stuff, I tried all the other load screens and this has to be the best one, so I'll be using this from now on. Thanks for this, great work.
In terms of integrating them into the game, I basically just re-textured the tesg loading screens mod, which I know did image loading screens. I *think* that one supports other resolutions, but I haven't been able to check
No worries, thank you very much! From doing my own loading screens and main menus, basically, the nif files and the DDS's need different resolutions, otherwise in a 21:9 monitor they'd be mostly cropped
Actually if you could do a 21:9 (e.g. 3440x1440) patch for the loading screens, I would be super stoked. I also game on an Ultradwide screen, so this would definitely help with cropping and blurriness.
The originals, in high res are in the optional downloads now. Tbh, I didn't really know what I was doing, with the textures. I just edited the dds files in photoshop
Even with the 16:9 version, I don't know if the way I did it is the best (eg for resolution)
Seems not ideal that you used 1024x1024 texture for a wide ratio image (16:9, even worse with 21:9) and filled height with black unused space.
It would have been recommended to set the texture resolution to 2048x1024 or even 4096x2048. Starting from a 2:1 ratio canvas would greatly increase the quality of the images, without needing to use the extra file size a 1:1 ratio (e.g. 4096x4096) texture comes with.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking also. The original tesg mod has this format, with the square aspect ratio and black bars. Maybe some benefit to it. But maybe I gotta fork a different mod (if allowed). I imagine I can't just change the dds size without the meshes not needing some magic
Thanks for the sources, I think I might try to make for 32:9. This is really really cool, but definitely needs ultrawide love ;) Got me looking into the stability code too O_o
I wasn't sure how much I'd like this mod until I saw the first load screen on my big screen, these images are amazing. Thank you for your work! ENDORSED! (The only changes I made for my own use is I converted it to a non replacer and removed the text. I've also uploaded a patch as such in case anyone else prefers it this way as well)
Where exactly is the cringe? All I see is a friendly mod author offering a nice assortment of loading screen art made made by an AI. Personally i'm going to give this a go, it beats out the tedious rotating models of Bethesda's loading screens any day. People like yourself are why we can't have nice things.
AI art is trained on real art without the original artists consent (i have yet to find a public AI art program that has gotten express permission from artists) it also allows for people who don't want to learn and put in the effort to draw to make art on high levels. they also aren't protected or adhere to any copyright laws currently which makes them extra cringe because it allows for people to steal from real people and reproduce their work
AI art also has a lot of flaws. like faces and hands. you can literally see it in some of the preview screenshots but please. go ahead, continue to support AI art. when your favourite voice actors can't get work anymore. or your favourite artists quit making art because of AI cloning. "People like myself" will sit here and laugh at you
Saying ai is cloning art is as saying someone who learns to draw by looking at other peoples drawing is cloning. If an artist quits drawing because of that, then this artist never made it for fun or dont know how to utilize ai.
An artist can and does train on other people's art and they don't require permission to do so. The neural pathway that the brain of an artist takes to make art is similar to the neural pathways a generative AI takes. It just that silicon and metal don't burn out and can handle tasks at fraction of a human's speed. There is nothing being copied in both cases. Generative art can be and usually is very different form it's data set art. It's always new as long as you command it.
You can cry all day about copyright while I generate profit from the multiple fake only fans account courtesy of generative AI. You people will even copyright insulin shots for profit. There is no moral high ground for you.
That's a reason to attack the companies who make these models, not the people who use them. The companies who develop and train deep diffusion models have done a REALLY good job of keeping the focus off of themselves, but that's where it should be.
believe it or not. standing against AI generated art means standing against the companies who create and train the models as well as the people who use them
this isn't a video game. you don't get locked out of the other option when you make a decision

Is there an easy way to turn off the text though?

hope you have a good life!
I assume they are exclusive to 16:9?
Edit : Yep, they are, if you could ever upload the original images it would be great, I could patch them for 21:9From doing my own loading screens and main menus, basically, the nif files and the DDS's need different resolutions, otherwise in a 21:9 monitor they'd be mostly cropped
