    Great Work! Was just curious what does this do in regards to Side Quests of Skyrim and woodcutting axes?

      Side Quests of Skyrim adds a non-functional pickaxe and woodcutting axe. This mod makes them functional, so you can actually mine ore or get wood with the tools you get from the "temper tool" quests.

    Is this tied to specific form ID's in the original mod esp that's being patched? Will it still work if the original esp is compacted and flagged as an esl?

      You should be fine compacting plugins as Melwen's FLM mods use EditorIDs, which don't change when compacting or merging plugins.

    Fantastic and immersive utility mod!

    I've always felt that two of the JaySus axes seemed ripe for this kind of treatment, since they're clearly meant to be more utilitarian Nord axes: the Crude Axe and the (!) Woodsman's Axe. That last one seemed particularly odd. ;)

    I kinda just wish like, I could use pretty much any axe in the game to chop wood. I don't know what to modify to do that in SSEdit otherwise I would

      The easiest way would be by editing the Wood Chopping Block (and the snow variant) script to make it compatible with any battleaxe/war axe, otherwise you'd have to add all axes to the formlist, either by editing the Wood Chopping Axes formlist on SSEdit or making a FML patch like the ones provided by this mod.

    Is it possible to consider to add the following axe mods with wood-chopping functionality by Garrus the Lone Wolf?

      Well, I've personally used a self-ported merged version from LE (so I'll make a patch by myself since it altered FormID), but the majority of potential users will be enough just to have a patch for Garrus's pack.

      I just added it as an optional file for now. Garrus's Axes didn't change the edid from the LE version, so it should work for your ported/merged plugin as well if you kept the original edid.
