The Royal Ebony Dagger was used centuries ago by only the most trusted Blades agent of the Septim Empire. Most notably, this type of sleek dagger was likely used by the agent who solved the mystery of King Lysandus, and participated in the Miracle of Peace, often called the Warp in the West. No doubt, these daggers have a history, are very rare, and hold great value.
This classic dagger design is much faster than typical daggers, making them ideal for stealthy characters looking to deal with their targets as quickly as possible. In fact, the dagger is 1.7x faster than a normal dagger, weight 3lbs instead of 5, and does 2x critical damage. It's a perfect late-mid or endgame weapon for a sneaky Dragonborn.
It won't be particularly easy to obtain this dagger, however. The daggers aren't common to Skyrim, and only skilled ebony-smiths are able to craft them. However, for resourceful adventurers, ancient temples used by the Blades during their prime would definitely be the best place to look.
