This SSEEdit script buffs most food items in the game so they're actually useful for healing. It generates a patch for your entire load order, both vanilla Skyrim and mods. This buffs both Restore Health and Restore Stamina effects of foods.
Some examples: Horker Meat goes from 1hp to 22hp Boar Meat, 2hp to 24 hp Apple Dumpling, 5hp to 30hp Long Taffy Treat, 10hp to 40hp Eidar Cheese Wheel, 15hp to 50hp
Food that heals 20hp or more is unaffected.
The formula is: (vanilla healing * 10 - 25) * 0.2 + 25, rounded down. It's right at the top of the script file if you want to tweak it.
INSTALLATION: Place the script into SSEEdit's Edit Scripts folder. Open SSEEdit, click OK with all mods checked. Select all mods in the left pane (click on one, press Ctrl-A), right click, select Apply Script, select "Make food heal more" in the script menu, click OK. Enter a filename for the generated plugin. Wait a minute or so for the script to do its thing, until it says "Done" in the Messages tab. Exit SSEEdit and save the plugin. Then enable the plugin in your mod manager.
