Changelogs

The Dragon Cult was a powerful group that ruled Skyrim during the Merethic Era. The Dragon Priests were the rulers of this cult who received immense power from Alduin in return for their obedience. While the Cult has long been defeated, their presence remains in Skyrim. The cities they once built are now ruins scattered across the land, and even in death, the Dragon Priests and their most powerful servants remain a threat.

This mod adds a new set of powerful Dragon Cult weapons, based on the Dragon Priest dagger and staff.
Dragon Cult weapons have a small chance (20%) to spawn on Ebony wielding Draugr. Starting at level 40, you might also encounter these weapons in loot in Nordic ruins.

Dragon Cult weapons are comparable to Dragon Bone in damage.
The set consists of 6 new weapons (Sword, Greatsword, Mace, Warhammer, War Axe, and Battle Axe), while The Dragon Priest Dagger has been renamed to Dragon Cult Dagger, with it's stats changed to match the other weapons. The latest update also adds a Shield.
If you also install the optional Animated Armoury or Heavy Armory Additions, you might find and extra 4 more weapons (Club, Glaive, Long Mace, and Trident).

Glaive and Trident use Greatsword animations and perks.
If you use DAR animation from Heavy Armory or Animated Armoury, they will use Pike animations instead.

Dragon Cult Weapons can't be crafted, but they can be upgraded using an Corundum ingot.

For each new weapon, there is also a unique, named version that might appear.

These are powerful artifacts from the Merethic Era gifted to only the most loyal and powerful followers of the Cult.
The chance of finding these is small, but it's well worth seeking them out because every artifact has a unique and powerful enchantment.
Every time a Dragon Cult weapon would spawn, there is a small chance an artifact version of that weapon will spawn instead.
Each of these will only spawn once. Once you obtain a specific artifact, it will not appear again.

You can discover the following artifacts:

This mod makes changes to a few Leveled Lists and some NPC's in Forelhost. Any USSEP changes have been forwarded.
Also fully compatible with Object Categorization Framework!

In most cases, using WryeBash should help resolve any conflicts, but a bunch of patches have also been provided in the installer.

- Ancient Nord Stalhrim by TateTaylorOh, opusGlass and jboyd4
Merges level list conflicts.

- Animated Armory by NickaNak
Extends the weapon range with 4 new weapons, and resolves list conflicts.
If you want Polearm animations to work for the Glaive and Trident, you'll need Injected Animated Armoury too!
Let this overwrite any file conflicts.

- Audio Overhaul for Skyrim by David Jegutidse & Immersive Sounds - Compendium by lazygecko
Patches some of the weapons to use new sounds from these mods. Requires Sound Record Distributor to function!
I also recommend using ISC SRDified.

- CCOR & WACCF by Kryptopyr

Weapon stat are changed to be consistent with WACCF. CCOR is also supported but not required. Also adds new crafting and breakdown recipes.

- Haugbui - A Draugr Overhaul by Briraka
Resolves some conflicts.

- Heavy Armory
Extends the weapon range with 4 new weapons, and resolves list conflicts.
If you installed Heavy Armory's animation files, the Glaive and Trident will use new Polearm animations.
If you are using Heavy Armory Lite, they won't show up at all.

- JS Unique Utopia SE - Daggers by johnskyrim

- Will you make a patch for mod X? / Can I make a patch for mod X?
I will make a patch for mods that I use myself, or that are otherwise easy to throw together. If you want to take things into your own hands and create a patch for any conflicting mod you find, you are free to do so.

- Will this mod take space in my load order?
All .esp files in this mod are .esl flagged, so they won't take any space.

- Is it safe to install / unistall mid-game?
You can install this mod at any time. Uninstalling mid-game shouldn't break anything but is generally not recommended!

- Where do I find these weapons?
They only have a chance to spawn on high level Draugr Death Lords, and late game loot. The weapons can't be crafted. These weapons aren't intended for the early game, so if you just started a new playthrough, it'll be a while before you find them. Sorry!

- How can Draugr use Spear / Pike animations?
Get Draugr Spear Animation (DAR) to get them those work. Should work with OAR too.

 Xavbio,
for allowing me to use their textures as a starting point for creating my own.
Make sure you check out Dragon Priests Retexture SE, which I fully recommend you use alongside NAS: Dragon Cult!

 DrMonops,
for his never ending support, time, and wisdom. And for creating the WACCF, AOS and ISC patches.
