Whiterun and Riften are okay so far with JK's I could not find any entrance in Markarth, maybe I did not notice it yet (or it got hidden by my overhaul Markarth mod In Windhelm I am not quite sure because I used another City Mod that made the Ladder float (i guess) I wasnt there after my new Modding attempt ^^
I went ahead and installed and it is working so far without an issue.
Any chance of a spoiler of key locations? lol, I spent 2 hours in Belethors bedroom creeping on him as he slept looking EVERYWHERE. He probably does't even have a friggin key.
You can't. It's the mods way of leaving to your fate.
Basically, when you get into a fight inside a city the guards gang up and stop whatever is trying to kill you but this mod pulls a sneaky on you and forbids anyone from helping you.
I have tried to loot both the vaults in Whiterun and Solitude. However, even after pickpocketing the key from a guard, it says I need a key to open the actual vault. Is there a special key for the vault? The one I pickpocketed seems to work on the Master leveled gates but not the "Requires Key" gate. I'm also running Open Cities, don't know if that is what is impacting it.
Hello Same issue here: the pickpocketed keys from guards do not opne the "require key' gates Do I have to find another key (pickpocketing the Jarl or Calcemo maybe )?
Yeah, getting the same issue here too. Just got the keys from the guards in solitude and they didn't work. So I grabbed the key from General Tullius and that key didn't work either. Just going to console command the doors open. (or tcl to get through the wall)
Kind of late but I hope this helps whoever is still looking for answers.
You can pickpocket the key to the vault itself from a Jarl but to get into the locked rooms you have to get the keys from the city's power players, usually merchants.
To get said keys you have to get into their house and look for their vault key. They will not be in their inventory and they should not be in any containers. Usually you can find the keys in the store owners' bedrooms. They can be pretty hard to spot but you should find them if you look long enough.
You can tell which "lockbox" belongs to who by inspecting the the locked room. There should be a sign outside the locked room in question which corresponds to the sign found outside of the shops.
Hey, this mod seems to conflict with Alternate Start - Live Another Life. I tried going to the Thieves Guild alternate start and whenever I went in, Brynjolf was in the Ragged Flagon and had a conversation with me about how I got into the Ragged Flagon as usual, but the dialogue for going to the next quest (mugging the three merchants in Riften) didn't play. He went back to his usual routine of selling the Falmer Blood Elixir. I don't know how Alternate Start - Live Another Life and the overhaul would have to conflict with each other, but it is indeed the culprit from my testing.

Every guard of markarth saying to me "forgive me thane". How to solve this?
