About this mod

Complete Breezehome Overhaul from interior to exterior.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Welcome to Breezehome Dragonborn.

  • First and most important. This mod removes the ability for kids to live at Breezehome. So, if you're the adventurous type of Dragonborn that isn't yet ready to settle down, then this mod is for you. All you have to do when installing this mod is simply buy the home when prompted by Jarl Balgruuf. The upgrades are still available to buy but won't make any difference buying them, it will just be a waste of gold. Simply pay your 5000 septims and head to Breezehome.
  • Secondly, this mod has references to the mod, Rigmor of Bruma (Reboot). These references were APPROVED with kind permission from the mod author. Again, I do have PERMISSION to mention these references from Rigmor of Bruma.

This mod is a complete overhaul of Breezehome in Whiterun. I know that there is many of these type of mods already that exists but, bare in mind this mod only uses game made assets and really doesn't require you to download any other mod. In the mod load order it mentions needing Unlimited Bookshelves to download the mod, but that's optional or at least should be. The mod should work fine without it. This is literally my first mod. I worked really hard on it and would really like feed back if possible, not just to correct any bugs but to improve my goal in modding. Please bare this in mind when downloading my mod.

If you have played the Rigmor of Bruma (Reboot) then the best time to download this mod is after the end of that mod. This mod does work without Rigmor of Bruma though as it doesn't rely solely on a single asset from that mod; again it just makes references.

Things added:
  • Smelter
  • Forge
  • Blacksmith Bench
  • Grindstone
  • Tanning Rack
  • Alchemy Bench
  • Enchanting Bench
  • Patio (located behind the house)
  • Custom Dragonscales armor.
  • Custom Blades Sword

The firepit in the floor has been removed and replaced with an actual fireplace. There is more that's been added but you'll just have to download it to check it out. The photo's previewing this mod however, were taken in it's beta stage and have since been updated and look way more improved.

Requirements:
  • Skyrim.esm
  • Update.esm
  • Dawnguard.esm
  • Hearthfires.esm
  • Dragonborn.esm
  • Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp
  • Unlimited Bookshelves (optional)

Recommended Mods:
These are a few of the mods I use as shown in the pictures displaying the mod. They aren't required but, if you want your home to look like mine in the pictures, then download these mods.

This mod was made for Skyrim Special Edition 1.5.97 not Anniversary Edition although I don't see there being an issue with using this for that version, however, let me know in the comments section if there is as I'd like to update the description and maybe even get it working for that edition.

Glitches:
  • The blades sword sometimes will fall off the wall from behind the bed. It usually can be found laying on the bed or under it.
  • The Alchemy ingredients will fall off the shelf when activated. I tried fixing this using defaultdisablehavok script on top of Turn Off Havok with no avail. (If anyone knows how to fix this please message me here)
  • NavMesh issues make Lydia or any other NPC fall down to the lower level of Breezehome where the stairs used to be.

As always, for best results when downloading any mod, make a save you can revert back to in case of any issues. I've beta tested this mod before it's release several times with minor issues that I hope to correct. Still, just to be on the safe side of things, always back up your save and for best results, try using this mod with a fresh new game. I will try and answering as many comments as I can but bare with me as again, I am new to the modding scene.

I am open to help with the lighting and NavMesh issues in this mod. If you are able to fix the lighting or NavMesh issues in this mod I'd be grateful. I only ask that you message me first to let me beta test it before you re-release it or add an update .esp file. Also, if you by happen to like this mod enough to want to use it in another mod, I simply ask that you ask first. DO NOT reupload my mod anywhere else.

If you do / did like this mod please, I'd really appreciate it if you endorse it. The more endorsements the more I will think about moving onto another mod.
