Ok, long story short, I dug in the game a little bit and found out that Essential NPC can recover from a bleedout state by game setting, so I changed it. It's safe to say that this is the safest way to ''kill'' a NPC without breaking the game. But if they are staying on the ground kneeling, not very much ''dead'' right?
So, you need another mod for them to look that way: Essentials Ragdoll on Knockdown Like the mod's name says, they will play dead.
And with my esp, if you keep hitting the NPC, they will play dead even longer, and you can actually heal them to make them get back on their feet. Pretty cool, right?
A Notice Before Download:
1. After a little more testing, I found out that the setting itself and the whole thing won't make a dent to the game, but it creates a feature that if you don't pay attetion to your followers when they fall, like heal them or wait them to get up, they might have the ''temper'' to lay down for a ''leash drag''. Still, they can recover by fast traveling or reloading the game etc.
2. when the NPC fall, they are not really dead. So the followers' detection system is being weird as well, they would keep talking shit to the enemies and unsheathe and sheathe weapons repeatedly.
3. I don't really know how to fix these for lacking of the basic understanding on NPC detection system or the havok system, but I do know if anyone tries to fix the thing definitely involving add more scripts and stuff, which is not this mod's intention.
