I installed the main file, and it worked fine ..... for a while. Then the shiny-ness disappeared. I then tried the more shiny optional file but found it to be too shiny, but that disappeared too. I tried reinstalling the lesser shiny version, but there was still no shine.
UPDATE: Fixed it by going into Vortex and using the graph to make the Shiny skin load last. For some reason, Fair Skin Complexion was overwriting Shiny Skin. First time I've ever had trouble with a load order in Vortex.
Okay... this is perfect, exactly what I was looking for!
For anyone looking for just a simple shine I would definitely recommend you give this mod a try. I tried both files and the Main File has a fraction of the shine that the Optional File has so for me the Main File was perfect.
Great mod. I only see the effect in interiors with flame lighting. (like Breezehome) Anyone know if there's a lighting mod or setting which allows this to show up more? Also the mage spell candlelight seems to make it not show.
Hello, are you still working on this mod? Sorry but if you don't mind, may I request "lighter" version of this? the original one still too strong for me, thank you.
Thank you for the mod (Endorsed) it is the most even and smooth specular map mod that I can find. The only problem I have with it is that, in my opinion, it adds too much shine to the face. Do you think you could make one where the gloss is left on the lips but the rest of it is cut off at the lower jaw line?
Love iiit!! Works on at least 90% of the NPC's. Doesn't work at all on my follower: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2728 it's a pity, but I still endorse and use your mod (:
