About this mod

Replaces the vanilla Frostbite Spider textures with googly eyed textures. Somewhat of an anti-arachnophobia mod.

ABOUT
Scared of Frostbite Spiders? Too weenie to install a replacer for them and witness manmade horrors? Googly Spider Eyes has you covered. This mod replaces vanilla Frostbite Spider textures with a googly eyed version of BellyAche/STEP Modification's spider texture from their Animal and Creature Pack mods.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A legal copy of Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition

INSTALLATION
  • Mod manager: Install as usual with your preferred mod manager
  • Manual: Extract the mod contents and place into your game's data\textures\actors\frostbitespider folder. Overwrite if asked.

UNINSTALLATION

  • Mod manager: Remove as usual with your preferred mod manager
  • Manual: Remove frostspider.dds, spider_n.dds, and spiderdesat.dds from your game's data\textures\actors\frostbitespider folder

ALTERNATE TEXTURES
  • There are two alternate textures in the mod's OPTIONALS folder. Just overwrite frostspider.dds and/or spiderdesat.dds with one or both of the optional textures.

COMPATIBLE
  • Anything and everything that doesn't touch spider textures

INCOMPATIBLE
  • Any mod that replaces Frostbite Spider textures will not work with this mod and will likely overwrite it.

NOTES
  • "The Contest" Creation Club mod's Web Mother spider is not covered by this mod.

PERMISSIONS
  • You may upload this to Bethesda.net, as long as you credit me and link back to this page in your upload.
  • You may not reupload this mod to other sites, nor are you allowed to paywall the mod under any circumstances, in any form.
  • You may include this mod in a collection or Wabbajack modlist. You do not need my permission.
  • You may make patches for this mod if needed. You do not need my permission.
