I've tried to make it a bit better, in 4k this time with a less visible tiling. Sadly it's still not perfect, but it's (in my opinion) better than vanilla.
I really appreaciate any feedback or suggestion (Even though I will probably not working that much on this mod)
first of all thanks you for your kind message, I really enjoyed what you've did and I was really happy to be able to work on it to include them in skyrim. I simply edit it a bit to work better with skyrim shader. I would accept with great pleasure to use the source files, Maybe saving it in a less destructive format could help to improve the black to grey transition.
On another hand I feel a bit ashamed since I didn't give you full and proper credits for your work. I did it for myself, with the free and well done texture you've made, and upload it just in case but I've totally forgotten about it. For this reason I need to present you my apologies, i would understand if you prefer me to remove this mod if you want to manage it by yourself.
Hey, don't worry about it; I posted it for everyone to use with no strings attached. It was actually a quick texture I threw together for Oblivion, then I decided to post it online for free use.
Keep the mod up! I'll never make a lava replacer for Skyrim anyway.
I'll PM the source file link as soon as it's ready to download.
I remember finding the Aetherium forge for the first time, bloody hell it was gorgeous. It still is- it holds up unbelievably well, as does Skyrim in general. This, though, looks like a HUGE improvement. Can't wait to see it in-game!

Cheers to all who partook with this. That was one thing I could never find a fix for in my Skyrim I'll test it out at the forge.
You should be fine if you want to install it manually in Oldrim.
I can send the source file if you want. It will be easier to edit.

Today I visited Aetherium Forge difference is huge.
Much better than the previous texture. (Version 1.0)
