Version 1.2 - Update now requires Papyrus Extender - Replaced OnHit (performance unfriendly) with OnHitEx which allows hit event filtering (Unrelenting Force & Dragon Unrelenting Force only) - Added condition to prevent hits being registered on actually dead Skeletons - Scripted bone pushback appears to be smoother with the new event (could just be placebo)
Version 1.1 - Added configuration file (JS Shout Apart Skeletons SE_Config.ini) that allows users to set the minimum level of Unrelenting Force (Default: 1, Max: 3) - Unrelenting Force cast by Dragons will also affect Skeletons
The description says it doesn't affect higher level Skeletons, does 'dunpoiSkeletonMageAggro(0010b18a)' 'dunRannveigSkeletonMage(00104176)' included? They don't even fly away by shout.
Cool mod, but maybe shouldn't work on Corrupted Shades. Being able to one shot every single non-boss enemy in Kilkreath with a single word of Unrelenting Force on legendary difficulty feels a bit cheap.
This is neat, this feels like something that should have been in skyrim all along. I wish other shouts could have extra/unique effects on enemies because I would be way more likely to remember to use them and not just fall back on magic all the time. Like if using fire breath burned lower level enemies to ash? Like if I could just vaporize a group of skeevers by screaming at them? Exquisite
Doesn't really need a patch, rather just the race formID's from Mihails mod adding to the SPID config file (assuming his skeletons are set to break apart)!
You can use xEdit to get the formID, but the actual implementation is just a line in the SPID (_DISTR.ini file)
To get familiar, try compare some of the existing formID's in the SPID file with ones in the vanilla game. You only need to look under the Race section :)
Are there different levels of skeleton? If not, a suggestion for FUS to have say 33% chance to destroy, ROH 66% and DAH 100%. Seems a bit more 'immersive'! :)
• JS Shout Apart Skeletons SE comes with its own configuration file that can be found in the Data folder (JS Shout Apart Skeletons SE_Config.ini)
And under a "spoiler" button:
[config] MinUnrelentingLvl = 1The minimum level of Unrelenting Force that can be used (Default: 1, Max: 3)
Also, this mod only effects skeletons that are meant to break apart anyway. Any further customization would require adding conditions to the magic effect or spell in the plugin, using SSE Edit or Creation Kit, for randomization and/or health level to get a result as you state in your suggestion.
Ah, err... miscommunication I guess. I appreciate it must get tiresome repeating what is already in the description! I had actually read it all. By different levels, this was a Skyrim question not a mod question as I couldn't actually remember; if there are different levels that can break apart, I am sure you would have considered each word affecting different levels. I was simply offering a suggestion that would lead to Player becoming noticeably more powerful with increasing words learned that would work with existing destructible skeletons yet without much extra work for the mod to do. Nonetheless, thank you again for your mod!
