2.0.0 is up. I hope people that were turned away by some of the jank in the previous version will give the mod a shot again. It's a lot better, in so many ways.
Please remember that almost all features can be disabled or tweaked to your liking.
If you don't like recoiling after hitting walls, there's nothing stopping you from disabling that feature entirely or tweaking the recoil collision length, etc.
Precision, SkyUI and Maximum carnage keep reverting their settings on reload. And with Precision my changes arent working at all. Im unticking hit-stop and weapon trails but they wont disable. Every other mod in MCM saves just fine except the 3 I listed above. Anyone have an idea whats going wrong or have experience with these mods? (My mod list is very light)
Hello! This mod looks absolutely fantastic. I’ve never played Skyrim before and am only installing a handful of QoL/graphics mods. I was wondering: how much does this mod affect gameplay? Does it make the game easier or harder? Also, installing it with Vortex works, right?
Also, it says that Project New Reign - Nemesis is optional. Is it fine to use Precision without it, and what will it affect?
If you have time to answer my questions, it would be much appreciated!
Hey this mod's great, adds a lot of awesome stuff that's really fun to play around with. But to anyone reading this who may be jumping into installing this, do yourself a favor and increase "Weapon Length Base Multiplier" to 2.5x if you like being able to hit things without having to get close enough to whisper sweet nothings into that mudcrab's ear.
I think i will try this, I was thinking all day to delete this mod bc it just works :D Follower not hitting or enemies swinging short weapons never hitting anything is so stupid.
I really dislike hit-stops, they're the opposite of satisfying imho. They look really jarring as well. One of the first things I notice about any game trailer is whether there are hit-stops or not (I call them hit-freeze frames), and now Skyrim modders want it too. Anyway, rest of the mod looks good. I'm assuming I can just turn hit-stops off in the MCM?
I am not sure if this mod causes the issue. But I noticed that if the enemy is shorter than my follower, or the enemy is downed, my follower could just miss all the time, attacking the air 😂.
I've noticed that with the block perk that makes time slow during an enemy power attack doesn't really work well with this mod. As soon as I try to bash them out of the attack, it does stagger them however because of the weapon collisions I take full damage as if the weapon hit is registering before the interrupt. (Because I am no longer blocking due to bashing)
Pretty much just have to use the slow time as a way to side step the attack altogether because bashing just makes me get hit.
Only version 1.1.7 or earlier supports skyrim 1.5.97 any other version will lead to crashes as the physics behavior has changed in A.E. Side note I don't think this is shown on the modpage really at all it notes A.E/S.E compatability in the description. And makes no mention of any version A.E or S.E in the most recent downloads leading to the assumption it works for both. The only inclink is that earlier version noted both se and ae for compatability.
It works really well with it, but it's your choice. I do recommend it tho, Precision makes combat more dangerous since you need to get close to enemies and that fits well with the Blade & Blunt objective.

Thank you for sharing this with us all!!!
thanks for the hint <3
Once the NPC is down (almost dead) everything misses.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this?
