By design the original wedding happens during the dark brotherhood quests, and the alternate wedding happens if you destroy the dark brotherhood. A patch is only needed if neither of those options is no longer available in your game.
Of course, you can always choose to kill Astrid instead. Honestly, people who install Vittoria's Alternate Wedding will likely choose that.
But still, Current Innocence Lost - Quest Expansion patch instantly starts the wedding almost right after Grelod is sent in the jarl, while technically the option to become an assassin and then kill Vittoria can still be available due to the other quest expansion. So I recommend a new patch for this specific combination.

Its a fresh take on the Destroy the Dark brotherhood quest, adds a bunch of new quests to stop the DB from carrying out their contracts, and the wedding assassination might be one of them, not sure.
Thanks! I'm not even sure the edits to the interior are necessary for the quest? If they are not one could just remove them TBH, but I can't tell if they are there for a bigger reason.
If it's just the bed it shouldn't be a big deal, but when I checked in game there was a character walking against a wall (or shelf, now I don't remember) so there must be something up with the navmesh I think.
It does indeed edit the navmesh. Before I can manage to get it patched you could load snazzy interior after Vittoria's alternate wedding, and have fairly minimal issues.
I have both Innocence Lost Quest Expansion and Dark Brotherhood Rising Revenge; this means I can destroy the DB independently from whatever happens to Grelod. Is your Innocence Lost Quest Expansion patch still viable? I wouldn't mind having a different letter depending which of the two events come first (Grelod being arrested or me destroying the DB), however I am afraid the quest could be triggered twice or anyway cause issues.
The quest can't be triggered twice. However, you would probably get two letters if you both had Grelod jailed and destroyed the Dark Brotherhood. So not game breaking, just a slight immersion break. I can look into patching this though.
When using your patches, is it still necessary to stick to the mandatory load order in the sticky of the original mod? Or do the patches basically mean the load order between these mods is no longer relevant
While it's true that everything from Vittoria's Alternate Wedding will work if following the LO instructions in the sticky, not everything will work, because the mods that lose in the LO will also lose the changes in the conflicting records (hence the need for the patches on this page). The patches themselves are LO agnostic, meaning that the order of the master files does not matter.
Which GDO patch is the "pleb" version? I selected the non-Redux version and got the pleb version, but I thought I was using the GDO patch before you updated which must mean I was not using the "pleb" version. You should really rename it if for no other reason than because it's confusing
XD The problem is that the patch for redux is already named GDO, so I'm not sure how to differentiate the patch for the other one. I'll figure something out.
