Spell Research's core mechanic of analyzing spells gets frustrating to some players, encountering an infinite loop whenever we hit the "Analyze Spell" option in the research journal. In my limited testing, I found the problem to be UI Extensions. While I couldn't find the exact cause of the problem, I did find a simple workaround.

With a simple script adjustment, analyzing a spell now removes the player from the research journal menu, bypassing the infinite loop. This might get tedious if you planned on doing more in the menu than analyze one spell, but if you have a hotkey assigned to your research journal, this isn't much of an issue.

The change was incredibly small, and after about half an hour of testing, nothing else seems to be affected. But this is my first upload, so I wouldn't be surprised if something doesn't work quite right. 

Included are two versions - one for Spell Composing Compatibility and one without. Pick whichever you need, and let it overwrite Spell Research and Spell Composing.

I've only tested on Special Edition, though it will probably work on Anniversary Edition as well.
