About:

Have you ever lost coins down the back of a sofa? or perhaps over-stuffed your pockets only to have everything fall out when you stood up? well now with a little bit of immersive magic, NPC's too can misplace their septims! The aim of this mod is to give NPC's a little something extra to do!

• NPC's that are carrying gold will now have a 10% chance to drop up to 3 septims when getting up from certain Furniture. If they are not carrying any septims, then they won't be able to drop any. This does not currently affect the player.

What happens next?

• If an NPC does drop some of their gold, they will have a 60% chance to notice and pick it back up (single occurence)
• If an NPC does drop some of their gold, they will have a 40% chance to not notice, allowing you to sneak over and steal it!

Configuration

• JS Misplaced Septims SE comes with its own configuration file that can be found in the Data folder (JS Misplaced Septims SE_Config.ini)

Note: Due to this mod being handled via a spell, when CoinDespawn is set to True, dropped coins will immediately disappear if the coin owner leaves the current cell

Required Mods

SPID (Spell Perk Item Distributor)
Papyrus Ini Manipulator

Installation

• Mod Manager / Manual Extraction to the Skyrim Data folder.

Known Issues / FAQ:

1) Compatibility Issues?
• None that I am currently aware of. NPC's won't take back their septims when they are in combat or arresting someone, to prevent screwing up the AI (and because they're already distracted)

2) NPC's hands don't grab the coins!
• "It just works"

3) Can more items or more coins be added in the future?
• It's not out of the question! What should be added?

• If for some reason the files do not work, cause crashes or any other problems, please do not hesitate to contact me.
• All screenshots are taken directly from the game and resized down from 1920x1080 to 1280x720. No other editing has been done.
