Skyrim Modding Essentials is a lean utility Wabbajack list for Skyrim Special Edition, intended to jumpstart a new mod setup with all the required tools and basic mods. Instead of spending an afternoon configuring the basics, SME allows you to dive right into building your own custom mod list with zero hassle in a self-contained MO2 instance including a separate installation of the game.

Please note: SME is intended for experienced modders looking to build a new setup. The list allows you to skip all the boring prep work which comes before the fun stuff and for everything contained in SME, I will be providing support and taking feedback. However, I will not teach you how to use the provided tools because frankly learning how to mod is a time-consuming process and not something I can quickly explain to you on Discord. Maybe if Venus moves favourably to Jupiter on a Bloodmoon night, I will finally finish my WIP beginner's guide which is intended for that purpose.
