Ancient Knowledge - Automaton Summoning

After obtaining the Ancient Knowledge perk, you gain the skill to craft automaton summoning scrolls and upgrades for those automatons. You unlock new automaton summoning scrolls and upgrades as you level up your Smithing and Enchanting skill respectively. 

These scrolls are named "Schematics", they function the exact same as Scrolls however.

Too obtain the Ancient Knowledge perk you will need to be level 14 and head to the Riften docks where you'll find an Argonian named From-Deepest-Fathoms walking around. Talk to her and you'll start the "Unfathomable Depths" quest. Which will reward the Ancient Knowledge perk on it's completion.

Construct Automaton Schematics

Schematic of the Dwarven Sphere - Unlocked at Smithing 25
Requires 2 Dwarven Metal Ingots, 1 Dwarven Gyro and 1 filled Common Soul Gem for 1 scroll

Schematic of the Dwarven Ballista - Unlocked at Smithing 50
Requires 2 Dwarven Metal Ingots, 1 Dwarven Gyro, 2 Dwarven Gears and 1 filled Greater Soul Gem for 1 scroll

Schematic of the Dwarven Architon - Unlocked at Smithing 75
Requires 3 Dwarven Metal Ingots, 2 Dwarven Cogs, 2 Dwarven Gears and 1 filled Greater Soul Gem for 1 scroll

Schematic of the Dwarven Centurion - Unlocked at Smithing 100
Requires 3 Dwarven Metal Ingots, 1 Dwarven Gyro, 2 Dwarven Cogs, 2 Dwarven Gears and 1 filled Grand Soul Gem for 1 scroll 

Dwarven Gyros, Gears and Cogs are also craftable at a forge for 1 Dwarven Ingot each

Construct Upgrades

Upgrade: Self Maintenance: Constructed automatons regenerate Health while not in combat. - Unlocked at Enchanting 20
Requires 1 Centurion Dynamo Core, 1 Filled Black Soul Gem, 3 Dwarven Gyros and 10 Orichalcum Ingots.

Upgrade: Sturdy Construction: Constructed automatons last three times longer. - Unlocked at Enchanting 40
Requires 1 Centurion Dynamo Core, 1 Filled Black Soul Gem, 3 Dwarven Cogs and 10 Moonstone Ingots.

Upgrade: Backup Traversal Engine: Constructed automaton's Movement Speed is increased by 100% outside of combat. - Unlocked at Enchanting 60
Requires 1 Centurion Dynamo Core, 1 Filled Black Soul Gem, 1 Dwarven Gyro, 3 Dwarven Gears and 10 Quicksilver Ingots.

Upgrade: Reinforced Plating: Constructed automatons take 25% less damage. - Unlocked at Enchanting 80
Requires 1 Centurion Dynamo Core, 1 Filled Black Soul Gem, 2 Dwarven Cogs, 5 Dwarven Gears and 10 Malachite Ingots.

Upgrade: Tonal Insight: You can construct one additional automaton. - Unlocked at Enchanting 100
Requires 1 Centurion Dynamo Core, 1 Filled Black Soul Gem, 3 Dwarven Gyros, 5 Dwarven Cogs and 10 Ebony Ingots.

Dwarven Gyros, Gears and Cogs are also craftable at a forge for 1 Dwarven Ingot each


Ancient Knowledge Tweaks Patch
This patch changes Ancient Knowledge to provide a 15% experience boost to both Smithing and Enchanting and states it allows the crafting of automatons.
Removes the boost to Dwarven Armor's armor rating. Requires USSEP. 
This patch is completely optional, only download if you wanna and don't have another mod that edits Ancient Knowledges effect.

Compatibility 
This mod makes no changes to any vanilla content and so should be compatible with any mod.

I'd HIGHLY recommend Dwemer Ballista Crash fix as it will stop Ballistas from crashing your game. Please please please get it.
