I like variety in my game. And I love simplicity. Inspired by DylanJamesWasTaken's refined version of The Prince and Pauper, I wanted to create an even more simple mod that added some variety to the outfit of children in Skyrim. Thanks to Dovahkinder Collection and Dovahkinder Complete for the textures.

The 'problem' with children outfits in Skyrim is succintly written on the original Prince and Pauper modpage:

Has anyone else noticed that Dagny, the Jarl's daughter is wearing the same outfit as little orphan girl down by the Eldergleen? It is no wonder that Dagny is throwing a fit about getting a NEW dress! lol.

As a matter of fact, out of the 42 children featured in Skyrim, 27 are wearing OUTFIT01. Well, this mod changes that! This allows the children to be dressed more realistically and with more variety. 

What my mod does to fix this 'problem'

- distributes the previously unused Grey and Yellow children outfits that are part of Hearthfire to several children in Skyrim. This simple change alone helps with outfit variety.
- takes the in my opinion 5 most vanilla-friendly outfits from the Dovahkinder mod + 1 child outfit from Gamwich
- distributes those to several children in Skyrim
- updated child gift + vendor lists through a script utilising FORM ID lists (thanks to Dovahkinder Complete for this, because I hate scripting), which can be simply updated/modified/expanded by users in xedit

Notes

- See screenshots for some (but not all) examples
- As with most of my mods, it will fit in best with a vanilla-like Skyrim
- This mod edits the script BYOHRelationshipAdoptionChildScript.pex in order to update the gift list, so check in MO2 if any other mod is conflicting with this mod, because it will break it. 
- This mods edits NPC records, so be sure to check for conflicts and patch in xedit accordingly :)
