Why would you even try to convert it ? Just flag the thing and call it good ! =)

[00:00] Start: Applying script "Find ESP plugins which could be turned into ESL"
      [FE 000] WadeInWater.esp
Can be turned into ESL by adding ESL flag in TES4 header

I imagine that flagging ESL might have been what the OP had in mind. So just to make sure (in light off doodlum's response): It is safe to ESL-flag the ESP (turning it into an ESPFE)?

Seconding Hamster's question, I too would like to know if it's fine to flag the original mod with an ESL tag so that it isn't taking up precious plugin space, or if this one requires to seek the original esp and can't find it when calling if it's tagged with ESL.

In my limited knowledge of doing this stuff I believe it would be fine to set the ESL flag as you are not compacting it, which would change ids.
Don't take this is fact though.

i forgot to install the requirement "Loki's Wade In Water", and for some reason, instead of this mod just not working, it repeatedly crashed my game on loading saves

Adding mods mid-game is safe in most cases, this mod works perfectly fine for me after adding it mid-game on version 1.6.1170

Seems like this mode needs an update to 1.6. 1130

Doesn't work if you downgrade to 1.6.640 either. The wrapper Bethesda updated is breaking this mod (and many other SKSE plugins).

I was on that version before updating and it worked just fine and that was two days ago the only mistake I've made is upgrading too early smh

      Control map?

If it’s a doodlez mod that isn’t CS related you can pretty much consider it abandoned or at least hiatused

Is there any way to edit the speed multipliers? The curve seems a bit too steep and makes wading through foot high water seem unnaturally slow.

Awesome! Is it possible to make one where the character slows down when going upwards?

Are any of these possible to do?
      - Slower animation when going out of water after swimming so it doesn't look so snappy.
      - Slower sprinting animation when sprinting on shallow water.

      ScrambledBugs does steep slopes

Sprinting animation is not controlled by me

Animation is controlled just by speed.

uphill-downhill does not play well with sprint jump unfotunately, your position gets updated in mid air and will slow you down mid air by a lot.  making jumping uneffective.  I really wish I coud've kept uphill-downhill in my LO, it was awesome otherwise.

this was implemented into S.M.C Skyrim Motion Control sometime ago, you slow down on inclines and speed up running down hills and such. even has OAR animations for it but I didn't like them personally.

it seems that I can't sprint at a certain depth of water when I wade.(Or some other thing cause it)  It's disturbing when battling. Does anyone have this problem?
