So folks, I do not use STR I was asked to supply a TPOSC version for it....if you or your group have ideas for this version, or if I miss something re the way STR works feel free to inform me and suggest ideas for collective play and remember TPOSC, is not linear in gameplay, enemies are more and less than you from the start. I change things up a lot...Good Gaming....and let's see what the future brings eh!!! Oh and spread the word if you like the mod....Many thanks.
From a PM Q: "How do step-in box triggers work for STR? Does it go off once for each player, and if so, is there a way to make sure it only goes off once?"
I am working on a patch that other party members can use which will disable the encounter spawns in their files for TPOSC but for the main party member and selected others that do not run the patch those spawns will trigger. So basically a control mechanism for group encounters. Please feel free to share your thought on this. So basically users 1 to 4 do not use the patch to disable encounters and the rest of the party does. Which should balance the encounters for the group.
NEW GAME START REQUIRED -- File updates include navmesh, small landscape changes, and other small updates but most importantly a serious reduction to dragon spawns, with no re-spawning after initial spawns. The no more Dragon Spawns patch is not needed anymore so if used please remove it as it holds invalid references with this version. All party members must update at the same time...

First off, this is my first go with TPOSC and I haven't looked into the changes too much for a fresh experience, so if I mention something that's obvious or non-related take with grain of salt. So I played with a mate for a bit and here's some things I picked up straight away during the beginning. not exactly bugs from this mod but wondering if you could change: 1. In the Bleak Falls barrows, where you get attacked at the spiral staircase by Skeevers, there are 2 with some crazy loot (gems, jewlery and like 250 tails each), seems a bit broken 2. The bleak falls claw is a cluster since you need it to open the door individually but it's a quest item so you cant just drop it (I spawned another in). Would be good if there was a lootable chest in the spider den for the other player(s) to grab one. This would obviously apply to any locked door and quest tagged key scenarios 3. As per the previous, would be nice to have maybe an optional download that doubles loot in general, especially uniques for doubles etc. 4. All the Draugr are super squishy and do minimal damage in the bleak falls basement area, a bit painful to get through... I know there's a skip manhole which I guessed was a quickfix if the web door was bugged. But anyway, would be nice if they were less of a chore to battle (less health more damage)
everything you mentioned here has nothing to do with this mod...I only add the fast travel, manhole in bleak falls barrow...so people can move directly to the puzzle door to save the 100th odd time of going through the whole cave system.
The hack I described is no longer viable through the new update of STR and pickpocketing now functions as it should (usually). Sometimes, you just have to use console commands for quest items, but use of the "Party Leader" function helps spawn most necessary quest items into players inventories (again, usually). This is just STR struggles, but doesn't actually have to do with TPOSC.
I couldnt find a clear answer to this, but can I install this mid game, or should this only be used with new saves? I cant see what would allow it not to be able to be installed mid game
I'm so confused when it comes to what to download and generate LODS. I'm not great at using mods but do I have to download your vanilla object and tree thing and generate LODS? What am I doing?
It worked for me to download and install the main mod and then installed the optional lod files. So you have three files installed: The People Of Skyrim Complete - STR TPOSC Vanilla Object Lods TPOSC Vanilla Tree lods
This is such a good match for "Skyrim Veterans" playing Skyrim Together! :)
We're playing with a relatively small modlist (compared to our Offline Skyrim) and were looking for something new that would work online, when we found your mod. After countless hours of doing the same content over and over there really wasn't anything out of the ordinary to experience anymore. That absolutely changed with this gem! This gave us so many "WTF!!!" moments in the ~20 hours we've used it so far, which we hadn't experienced for years.
Skyrim feels fresh, alive and dangerous again. There's so much to see and discover, with every settlement, outpost, etc. being filled with so much detail and love.
So for anyone thinking about downloading: DO IT!
This is not your ordinary quest/world addition mod, which releases the happy hormones for a few minutes to hours at best. This is the closest you will ever get to the feeling you had when you played Skyrim for the very first time.
Thank you so much for this mod and thank you even more for the memories, laughs and fun my SO and I had because of you! :)
There is downside, but I think that's more of a Skyrim (or Skyrim Together) issue than your mod:
Sometimes when my SO dies (I'm the party leader) the Dragons disappear for him. He can still hit them they are just not visible. If he crashes during a fight this happens 100%, every time.
Otherwise there's absolutely nothing we could complain about so far. Having an absolute blast :)
I would think this is a STR issue...However, I will be vigilant and check things out...TPOSC will need some serious changes I think as time goes by...I am all ears for now and waiting to see what further changes STR team do in the near future...
is there a way to disable the cheat items? i picked one up and equip it and now my character is constantly getting sapphire magic, garnet armor, etc buffs constantly reapplying and permanent. i just wanted to see what they were, really didn't want them in the game but enjoy the rest of the mod.
My mod doesn't change magic...the only cheats are a few armours and swords, homes with early access...I have never known them to affect any magic, etc, they are standard vanilla items duplicated with increased values on hits alone, or increased armour values...
At this moment in time quite a lot, it carries many updates, and edits the spawns, landscape, and so on, Navmesh changes, that the original doesn't for now, and will change via need and input from the STR community... whereas TPOSC the original has a different path.
It will be a little more flexible as it will be designed as time moves on with group play in mind...
V11 will get the same updates soon but it is in future development where these mods will differ in the long run and the point of this post...
I applied a different kind of filter and it looks like indeed some dragon placements were removed from the overworld, the lighting in Sleeping Giant Inn changed, Dova Halls decoration tweaked, some skeletons added to one overworld cell, Markarth had blackreach sun objects removed, some AI packages from the old mod are not present in the new one and a couple new objects added to a few overworld cells. Still not sure why you couldn't use this without Skyrim Together Reborn though, but I do see how it makes sense to market a mod specifically for the STR crowd, quite a lot of potential users there.
Indeed opportunity and their need will be very different from standard TPOSC users I thought! and I can mash up TPOSC to suit the needs of those users of STR keeping my wants of V11 on its course...If no one uses it, fine, but it saves me answering many questions potentially down the line about TPOSC V11 and saying no in regards to STR...Hence an independent version for STR...The reasons are many and as it will be for STR hence the link to it so people know it is there...makes sense right!!! And your filter doesn't even begin to show what has been done to this file version...at least this time you have checked rather than jumping right in eh!! So leave it out OK...you need to update your filter.... and the reason you do not understand why this version exists is because of limited vision on your part and understanding of the future of the V11 TPOSC project. + About a month of changes is in this file from the last upload and all the little touches picked up from the YT streams for the coming V11 mod pack collections...which as I said V11 has yet to be updated.
Please Read The Description Folks... "OK I sort of figure TPOSC has potential merit here with Skyrim Together Reborn mod, and as it seems Skyrim together will grow it is sensible to develop a version of TPOSC for it. "
