About this mod
Redux version of aureoy's Astronomer's Loft with my own personal flair. A small, cozy loft home still guaranteed.
- Permissions and credits
The mod is based off of aureoy's mod called Astronomer's Loft, it is a small cozy loft home situated in the attic of Arcadia's Cauldron. The home contains many of its original features, such as the functional enchanting book, alchemy alembic and cooking pot. I have added in several new features such as a functional mirror for all your character customisation needs and several unique storages that are listed below. All of the new items are static, so there's no need to worry the table of food is going to fly everywhere when you jump on it!
The book for accessing enchanting is located on the shelf behind the desk, the alchemy book is located on the desk and the cooking pot may be found on the table; some users may find this difficult to interactive with due to the static table clutter (please post if this an issue). The mirror well.. that won't be hard to locate, trust me.
I did not include any keys or need to purchase the house, it is good to go for the player immediately.
Please remember to check out aureoy's original mod and give him support too!
Performance
Some users may be likely to experience FPS drops around the heavily cluttered areas, such as with the food. There are many, many objects located all over the home. I do not personally come across any FPS issues, but please keep in mind the large amount of objects.
Location
- Entrance shifted slightly from original position, still located attached to Arcadia's Cauldron
Features
- Several new unique storages
- Liquor cabinet
- Weapons barrel
- Soul gems storage
- Bookshelf
- Potions
- Alchemy ingredients
- Notes
- Several interactive objects
- Enchantment table
- Alchemy table
- Char. customisation mirror

Compatibility
Should be extremely compatible with location mods that affect Whiterun, I personally use JK's Skyrim and Dawn of Skyrim patched and the home is fully accessible and functional, though I cannot guarantee for any other Whiterun modifications; please leave a comment specifying your issue(s) if it is the case for you.
I do not use the Open Cities version or the optional file from the original mod, so I'm not sure if there may be any issues with Open Cities or using the optional file by SetteLisette that adds an additional entrance and makes the house purchaseable.
Installation
Use any mod manager of your choice to install or manually install by unzipping the main file and installing the files within in their appropriate directories in the Skyrim SE folders. Keep in mind that the original main window is from the original mod and 'it might end up looking pretty damn ugly if you don't have high-res window textures' as stated in the original description.
