I dont know will it be useful, but oldrim version (with followers) version 0.25 "Random Emotions (with followers)-91439-0-25-1623862002"? work well on SSE with MFG fix and CEE, dont know about sexlab
Once again I am outraged by the unpopularity of this mod. This is the MOST important mod (and unfortunately the only one) if you want to see life on your subscribers. Without this mod, your subscribers will have a lifeless expression of a dead fish on their faces. The description may seem simple, but this works damn well for immersion.
I wanted to add a couple of notes. 1. This mod is incompatible with Mfg Fix NG. But there is a patch, unfortunately only for the regular version without compatibility with SexLab and without subscriber support. 2. I noticed some strange problem with the pause and stop buttons. Just warning you, if you click on them, pay attention to whether the mod stops working for you. Rebooting will not help. Only return to the previous save. Maybe it's just me.
Have you found a work around to use random emotions, mfg fix ng, and sexlab all together? Unfortunately I cannot turn off sexlab or mfg fix ng and so im stuck without random emotions and i really miss it.
Playing on VR so no MFG NG available for me. Just found out that starting a new game with SMP hair and this mod works fine. However, once I've exited and reloaded the game all facial expressions will stop and won't restart. It only seems to break if I select an SMP hair through racemenu though.
Update: Thanks to blackopsflyer's post, I found a solution. All you have to do apparently is open race menu one more time and save. Now when you restart Skyrim, expressions will work properly again.
I'm using the Random Emotions with followers Sexlab Compatible version, but at some point the script started increasing and getting stuck. (I have stopped and restarted Random Emotions with a key set from MCM during the game with no change).
I think this happened around the time I installed MfgFix NG. is it incompatible with MfgFix NG? (I do not use Conditional Expressions.)
After writing the above, I was looking at the MfgFix NG post and saw that it was reported that Random Emotions does not work with MfgFix NG. Apparently, that is correct.
For some reason on the MCM menu all of the expressions say "Load" on them instead of the tickboxes, and my character just has the same slightly-concerned expression on their face all the time. Any help?
Toggles have been removed in the latest version in favor of buttons (to remove cdt in MCM). Check if you have any mod that change expressions (like Conditional Expressions).
I also have the word Load showing for all the sections, and I don't understand what you mean by the toggles removed for buttons? Because there are no buttons, there is only the word Load appearing. hmm
Random Emotion is the only expressive mod I have installed.
If anyones having trouble with this not working, just double check on the right side of MO2 that you have the plugins activated. For some reason mine got randomly turned off
It has stopped working for me. I don't know what mod caused it, I have disabled all other expression mods. Pressing f11 or f12 does not show Pause or Stop emotions on the top left

I just found out this conflicts with Conditional Expressions, I made a bug report...

All expressions can sometimes hang if you change SMP hairs. Go into racemenu for a second, wait for a blink, to reset it.
