Version 1.1 is a small update that includes changes made by USSEP and a few others that I forgot to include originally. The problems with CTDs seem to point to an incompatibility with three meshes in USSEP. If you had problems before, then try the updated main file.If the USSEP based meshes still present a problem, then use the USSEP SAFE version with the deleted meshes. If you have any new problems then give me a detailed account of the issue in the bugs section.
Future updates will include the Black Bow of Fate and the Forge Master. While assembling all of the textures together for this mod I discovered these two only half done. If you have Ihlenda as a follower and use a combination of different Dwarven textures, then in a couple of weeks a version of her with dedicated textures will be available.
could you make a patch for https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/69121?tab=files&file_id=292875&nmm=1 it'd be kinda cool to have a dwemer volendrung.
The purpose of cleaning up the textures was to have the metal match the description given in TES lore. Many people have this idea that if the metal is old it must have rust. This is not so. 2,000 year old bronze swords are still being found in bogs that are shiny as new. Dwemer metal has similar qualities to bronze with the hardness of high quality steel. What you are seeing on SRWOs Ancient Dwemer Metal is thousands of years worth of dirt and oil build-up not rust. In the future I might add old battle damage, however that would only be done on the automatons. Dwarven metal weapons and armor are expertly crafted and well cared for by the Dwemer, therefore the only markings or blemishes would come from honing or polishing. Anything newly crafted would also look shiny and new.
I could have just said no to your request and be done, but I thought letting you know the reason for why my textures look the way they do was important. Sorry about being so long winded. I also retextured the Orcish armor that is based on the orichalcum described by Plato and found in the Old Testament. Since it's not green and dull like everyone expects it to be, I'll most likely not upload that. Again, sorry for the long speech.
If you're taking requests, please do upload your Orcish armor that is based on the orichalcum described by Plato and found in the Old Testament, I'm sure many of us Nexus lurkers would love it.
Thank you very much for your Glorious Dwarven Metal, rust be damned, beautiful bronze endorsed!
Hello, i'm absolutely loving the metal looks that the dwarven thingies should have, but i'm a bit confused about your mod...is this a retexture for the vanilla dwarven metals, or does it also include mesh replacers such as the centurion having a dwarven sphere head like in the pictures? or that particular "Heavy Centurion" is just from another mod?
EDIT : tested it, it only replaces vanilla textures. No mesh altering at all.
Is the non-USSEP version compatible with Skyrim Legendary Edition? I'm not seeing any .esp files in the download, but I'm a bit wary about the model replacements.
If you like a more polished metal, then use this mod. When you want more oil and grime encrusted metal I would then overwrite with Ancient Dwemer Metal.
Hey' I know it's a lot to ask but would you consider giving the other metals the same love and allowing it to be uploaded to xbox. This mod is beautiful.

I will love to see some aditional version with changed colour , for example some steel grey with very little blue tone.
