This was one of my first mod and it took a lot of time to work in it! Long time has passed and lot has happened in my life that took me far from modding and took part of my life away, i had a divorce to deal and depression... so honestly sometimes you don't want to deal with others problems plus as a modder i 've learnt that you can't make everyone happy, the mod is and must be only your vision an idea! Anyway i think modding and flowing ideas is always a point of start for everyone, give inspiration or an ideas than can grow in other different minds... For example Minty lightning that was a base mod for lightning has became a new mod and found a new life with Strom Lightning by Shizof VAE is not a perfect mod and i admit i've never been deeper in it, i am really greatful that Qwinns made a correct version of my mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24665
For the future it maybe possible that something will come alive, as many of you have seen there's a new mod call Vibrant Weapons that has some really nice ideas of enchantments, the only limit of it is that is expanded only to player and not to npc, i offer my help to the author and i am trying to make the same system that worked for VAE to work with his cause it's easier than apply scripting, not sure it will be possible but eventually you will see updates on this
To all users of have the issue of lightning color i remind you this link, you just need to overwrite the DDS if asked https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15565 when ask to overwrite the DDS from my mod just say YES
Never disable a mod mid-game, old advice. Just disable the plugin with your mod manager. While this mod was a good concept, it's too much ... It blocks my view and I can't even see my reticle. It was loaded from a Collection I installed, I disabled it and it was fine.
I feel an enchantment visual mod that just makes the runes higher res, and flare up with some sparks, or a little lightning bolt or something from time to time would be more than enough. Just swinging a pillar of flame feels a bit much.
Thanks for the tip Skyrob57 because this mod is definitely not for archers especially ones like me that pride themselves in long distance shots because the effect on arrows and even more so crossbow bolts you can't see anything. I'm using the Immersive and Adult collection and spent an hour or so trying to figure out which mod was doing this because it wasn't ever a problem in any of the mod lists I created myself for the last few years. I just wish there was a way to remove the effect from bows and keep it on the melee weapons where it isn't so bothersome and does look good.

so im having a problem with the ebony blade,the effect is not working like chillrend or harkon's blade,also the effect of other enchantment like fire or paralyze is not as fiery as in the picture,any idea why ?

If anyone here is unhappy with the yellow ice effect around your hands when you have <relevant frost spell> and when you take frost damage, this is caused by a single texture file provided by this mod.
Simply go into your VAE mod folder, go into textures > effects, then delete "magicicewisps.dds".
This texture file is in the vanilla archives and will restore the blue ice effect.
Do you know if it would be possible to use this with something like Vibrant Weapons? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40087?tab=description
I'm using Mod Organizer, and I am wondering if I could disable just the fire, frost, and shock files to allow the other mod's enchantments, or overwrite this mod's files with those one's.
