About this mod

This mod makes it so that your Housecarls will stand guard and patrol outside of your houses, rather than just sit around inside.

What does this mod do?
This mod lets your housecarls stand guard and patrol around your property. Not only does it make the housecarls themselves seem more useful, it also makes your houses feel more important and accentuates the fact that a very important person is living there.
Specifically, this mod gives all five vanilla housecarls a very simple daily routine and a few hand-placed patrol and idle markers for them to use. In the default version, they will guard for 18 hours (6am-12am) and then rest in their rooms for 6 hours. Alternative versions let them go to the pub instead or make them stand guard 24/7 to make sure that your house is never unprotected.
Lastly, the mod also changes the housecarl's default equipment to make them look even more imposing and appropriate for the specific city they are living in. I did this, because they always revert back to their default outfits, even if you give them nicer stuff, which is annoying. Their new outfits should be more interesting while hopefully not unreasonable (like Daedric or Dragonbone).

Installation and Uninstallation
Should not be any issue. If your housecarls are not behaving properly, tell them to follow you, then dismiss. This should reset their AI and equipment to the correct values. (This mod is also script-free).

Compatibility
This mod may be incompatible with other mods that alter the housecarls or the houses themselves. However, just try it and see what happens with different load orders. Worst case scenario: something doesn't work as intended. It won't break your game.

Bugs
There are no known issues, as this is a very simple mod. Of course the AI can behave a little strangely at times. If you notice anything that seems out of the ordinary, feel free to let me know.
