[Solved] Script lag from an unrelated, broken mod, which I removed.
Thanks for this. It worked really well in an in-depth load order test run I just finished. I just started a new save with almost the same LO. Mainly just swapped out SunHelm for Last Seed and completely removed Skyrim Reputation et al. This time, the Civil War quest Message to Whiterun is not disabling Stormcloak aggression in Windhelm. Streaking in (that is, naked) works and does not draw aggro. Given the LO is basically the same as the run that worked, it feels like this must be a script or Beth quest problem. Any recommendations on what to check to find the real culprit/fix?
Note: no mod file or ESP record conflicts at all, won or lost.
Even with the latest file, I'm still getting attacked by Imperials and their guards for no reason (even after taking after my fur gloves and using the Cuirass-only version). I don't believe this is the zero bounty hostility glitch because I have that fix installed and went in and out of a load zone. Uninstalling this mod fixed all of my issues. Download this mod with caution if you're a Vortex user, I guess.
if they attack you with all faction equipement removed, then it's a completely different issue than the one discussed earlier in the comments. however notice that: - If you aggro some NPCs and switch/unequip your armor, it won't stop combat. But if you go far enough from them to stop combat and return, they won't attack you - if you attacked them, they remember it even after you take off your faction equipment, so even changing the location and going back won't help
I don't like this idea since, while it makes sense, elven armor is considered to be a generic armor that anyone can craft or find in loot. Even with a race check
I recently downloaded the Gate to Sovngarde modlist (which includes this mod), after buying a modded armor and equipping it I got jumped by the Windhelm guards
This mod gave me a jumpscare lol, great work dude!
Love the mod! Was wondering if there was a way to exclude the Pale Guard tied to the Delayed Burial quest as he's essential until after it's completion!
But he's still a guard of the Pale hold and the situation with Cicero doesn't change it, so that wouldn't make much sense. Commanders at military camps are essential too, so what
The difference for me is that Commanders at the military camps don't block a quest, where the one with Cicero does. Truth be told, it's not that big of a deal, and easily enough avoided, was more annoyed at the time of writing the original comment than upset. Honestly I have forgot I wrote it. Thank you for your time, and the wonderful mod!
Would it be possible to implement this only with cuirasses? I know there is an option on fomod now to not to include boots and gautlets but I'm still getting attacked at sight with that option.
