This mod only increases power attacks. You don't have to install Ultimate Combat. The only consequence you install this mod without any combat AI mod is you can barely see any NPC performing such moves. Meaning - vanilla NPCs often only do left and right attacks. They don't usually do power attacks. However you must install Dynamic Animation Replacer.
Ya, it's still the best, why we have to change something really good. A promotion by the chance, I made a mod to make vanilla combat even better. If you like vanilla combat (or even if you don't) I'd recommend Sovngarde Beckons - Third Person Combat Mod it's a hidden gem combat mod which deserves more attention and contains quite a few things in it and it is mainly made for Skyrims combat. I did use it with ABR etc though before recently making a new game and switching over.
Might work well with this mod and I assume won't necessarily need UC for so many power attacks to be used, unsure. Need to double check if UC works with it, assume it might not.
A lot of people still prefer Skyrim's combat..just with a whole lot of modification. Mods like MCO look too comical or unrealistic for me to take seriously.

These are great, but so much spinning around is basically asking to be stabbed in the back. Any chance you could tell me which animations have spinning so I can delete them?
HI. Can someone tell me. Is there a specific button combination to do each move.... cause I always see almost the same moves...for example..I would like to do the Tornado Move more often but it barely takes action..whenever I do power attacks.... I guess I have seen it only 2 times...and I have been trying all different mouse and key button combinations with no good results...can some tell me how to do that move...please...

Wanted to know if anyone has tried to use this alongside the separate power attacks mod (which requires Nemesis) for NPCs. I'm fine with not being able to use the animations myself, but like the idea of the NPCs going crazy with Witcher-style combos.
I also tried out the mod author's creature animation mods and I just want to say keep it up! It feels we're finally getting some diversity to a much-overlooked portion of the game
Was looking through your older stuff and I think in my setup I might add conditions to all these to make 7678257 be nord and orc only and the forward power attacks from 7678251 be nord, redguard, and orc only and have the rest of the animations be nord and redguard only. Should add some fairly neat stuff like the rushing charge to nords and orcs, making redguards have some different moves to show off their martial background, and perhaps making imperials fighting stormcloaks a more interesting situtation that shows differences in fighting styles. Assuming blade and blunt makes them do power attacks enough for it to be noticeable. :P
