About this mod
This mod overstocks Helgen Keep with almost everything a player needs to become OP, or to level favorite skills early, before finishing Unbound. Take or Leave what you like.
- Permissions and credits
This Helgen Overstocked Mod 2 provides all the resources you need to advance the Alchemy skill so as to exploit the Restoration Loop,
plus extra goodies. But it differs from our Helgen Restocked Mod, released last week, in three important ways. The mod provides a
unique OP weapon, hidden in the Keep, though easy to find. It provides a few added enchanted jewelry items. And it provides a unique
enchanted piece of apparel, that may help save time grinding some skill.
This mod will also give you an OP head-start if you want to grind a tiny bit, to make some overpowered health and magicka armor and jewelry to wear
before you leave Helgen during Unbound. Or make you OP, if you choose. Maybe you would like to improve a little bit of armor, via Smithing, to sell later?
Notes:
1) If you play with the Unofficial Skyrim Patches, this mod won't work for you, since, we believe, in those patches, the Restoration Exploit no longer works.
We feel that the Restoration Exploit was "left in" by the game-designers as a lucky accident, perhaps, to accelerate skill-promotion.
2) This mod uses only base assets, so it has no texture files, but it does add a "secret" well-geared NPC. This mod may work nicely with other Helgen Mods,
in load-orders, but we do not have any such Helgen mods to test, so we count on the community to report.
3) This mod is likely incompatible with any Mods that alter Helgen's Interior experience during the beginning of the game, during Unbound.
4) If you feel this mod is unbalanced, as we do, you can leave all the stock behind, and play as normal, but now you have more options.
5) This mod scatters its items throughout the Helgen Interior, so you can get (re)-rewarded exploring all the treasures, when starting a new game.
6) This mod assumes you have some familiarity with playing Skyrim through a few times. You can enter Helgen Keep with either Ralof
or Hadvar.
Again, we tested this mod on two PC's with only Skyrim and Skyrim Update loaded.
