Would you like Skyrim to be a bit kinder to animals? Do you find Skyrim's culture a bit too primitive and barbaric? Is your character looking for a healthier diet, low in saturated fat, and high in fiber? Then this is the mod for you.
What about Protein?
Don’t worry! Nutritional yeast is around 50% protein. It is a whole protein so contains all the essential amino acids. Keep those Nordic Muscles firm, while shedding that pesky belly fat. Keep your lovely Khajiit fur shiny with Flax seed oil high in Omega3. High Elves, now you can have yet another reason to feel superior to the other races!What about Wood Elves?
Did you know that not all Wood Elves follow the green pact? Many that do are actually considered extremists who livie in remote isolated communities of Valenwood. Don’t let fear of breaking tradition hold back your true potential! Why not use your keen racial skills to befriend animals, rather than hunting them? Furthermore, according to the Green Lady, mushrooms, and fruit that has already fallen are absolutely acceptable for Bosmer to eat under the green pact.What about Argonians? Can I still eat fish?
Is this lore friendly?
Sure! Oblivion had flax seed harvested from flowers. Yeast must exists in Elder Scrolls because there is bread. What about compatibility with mods that use the items you have changed?
They will now use my replacer items. Crafting or cooking recipes added by other mods will now point to my replacer items, rather than the old item. For example if you have a mod that requires leather to craft an armor, it will now require fabric. The items are not deleted from the game by this mod, they are just replaced with new items.
Features
- Removes the dead animal corpses that were hanging in many places. Replaces them with hanging dried plants such as frost Miriam and Elves ear.
- Buffs plant-based food and adds new unique foods and recipes.
- Replaces food made from dead animal carcasses with plant based foods.
- Removes dead animal recipes from cooking pots
- Flaxseeds can be made from mountain flowers at the cookpot, which is used to make flaxseed oil, and flaxseed milk.
- Nutritional Yeast can be made from lichen and moon sugar.
- New tasty soups, with beneficial effects are also added.
- Replaces tanning rack with fabric rack. Leather is replaced with fabric, fabric is crafted from plant fiber. Armor is made with fabric instead of leather.
- Changes hearth fire stuffed dead animals to be made of stone instead
- Changes candle horns made from goat to be made from wood.
- Removes dead animal heads on walls
- Replaces dead skinned bears on floors with fabric rugs
