Hi, just an FYI. Wrye is not recognizing this FOMOD format.  I manually extracted and installed, but if you want to have a look when you get a chance.

Thanks so much for your efforts. :)

Oh. I don't think there are enough users using wrye bash as the mod manager to warrant an update.

I cant believe im downloading a mod that makes a ring look better.
I mean... it always bothered me so much, that it didnt cast a shadow. Thank you, OP.

the shadow casting has been fixed for years in assorted mesh fixes

So allow this to overwrite Assorted Mesh fixes ? Or not needed if we already have that ?

Let this overwrite that mod as its like for like and if I remember Assorted Mesh fixes set the mesh to cast shadows as the vanilla has none.

What is this related to exactly? I thought it was related to Holidays as well, do you know if it would work with it? I might download it and test it!

This is base game. Among the first things you see in solitude

I think the confusion comes from the festival in the name, and people (like me) thought it was related to the king burning festival, forgot exactly what it's called.

I always felt like the ring should be made of metal, not rope. Is that possible? Like the supports made of rope, and the ring made of metal? Either way, great improvement!

Edit: Oh my, wSkeever! You are a king! Thank you so very much, this is really amazing!

I was just thinking the same. Obviously, the original is a rope ring, but how the physics of that is supposed to work is beyond me. Wood or metal would hold a circular shape while suspended like that. But rope?! (Which is no dig at the mod - clearly the issue originates with vanilla).

Perhaps the rope is woven around a thin metal ring to keep the circular shape, note how the ring is thicker than the support ropes.

Yeah, I was assuming it was rope wrapped around a metal ring.  Only way I could keep the immersion alive.  :)

...aaaaand wSkeever solved it (which, by the by, could rapidly become something of a refrain). Thanks!

Metinks they dipped the rope in Horker glue to keep it rigid.

Why would you want to cut quality rope?
