I had done a similar patch for my game, but I used the meditate / shrine animation instead. If you want to try it out, you can add the Skyshard form to the "ARShrine" formlist. It will take a bit longer, though, but if you prefer absorbing the shard's power by Witcher meditation, that will also work. Thanks for sharing your patch :)
I was going to use the arshrine too but I though would take more time in the interaction? maybe having a dar folder via conditions for different animations but I'm not too deep on dar stuff lol. Thank you for comment!
Yes, it will take a bit longer, but I quite enjoy that. I consider it the time it needs to understand the knowledge the shard holds.
However, speeding it up might be a bit more complicated I'm afraid. To achieve this, IA's Papyrus scripts need to be edited. As far as I remember, the shrine animations are quite fast, but the script determines how long the character remains in the meditating idle.
I think the script does something like this:
OnActivate { playIdle(enterMeditate) playIdle(meditate) sleep(seconds) // these need to be adapted shrine.activate() sleep(seconds) playIdle(exitMeditate) }
It could be done by separating the shards from the other shrines, but if the scripts are touched, there will be bugs every time IA updates.

• ESO Skyshards (the Arthmoor version).
