Hi! I love this little village. It fits so nicely into the game world that it seems like a natural part of it. I like that it's compatible with Granite Hill by Skyking2020 and that you've made a patch available so they can work together.
The only issue I've run across with Gavrostead and Skyking's Granite Hill when using the patch is with the Guard House built into the stone section of the wooden bridge crossing the road. When attempting to enter the Guard House, my character gets "stuck" and can't proceed into the Guard House, though I can exit the door back into Gavrostead and I can tcl into the Guard House. I noticed that the guards also get stuck but eventually walk against the door long enough that they "teleport" into the Guard House.
This happens with the recommended load order of: Gavrostead.esp aaaGraniteHill.esp Gavrostead and Granite Hill Addon Patch.esp
I also tried the reverse load order (with the same results): aaaGraniteHill.esp Gavrostead.esp Gavrostead and Granite Hill Addon Patch.esp
When testing the above, the only other mods I had running were the USSEP and ASLaL. I'm using the latest version of Gavrostead 1.3.1 along with the Gavrostead Granite Hill Addon Patch.
Hopefully this can be looked into. Nevertheless, I love the village of Gavrostead and intend to keep in in my load order. Thank you for creating it and sharing it with us.
I can confirm this happened to me too. I don't think it is because load order issue. I assume the problem is related to door or marker placement that makes you teleport into the indoor cell because the actor got stuck in the door. However, I can't fix this in xEdit (I don't know what records to look at) and I have 0 knowledge in CK. I hope this mod gets updated or someone makes a patch even though this is a minor issue. Also if someone uses Lux Via like me, you need to disable some stonewalls via console command (the easiest way).
I think the issue might be that the patch I made for Granite Hill was for an older version of Granite Hill. Either that or you are using the Granite Hill from Artmoor. I am looking into my mods again and might make a new patch.
True. Its a patch for Skyking2020 "s Granite Hill, not Arthmoor's version. Arthmoor's Granite Hill covers the right side of the crossing mostly (like this mod does) while Skyking2020's Granite hill covers the left part. (I was wondering if i could make some little work to merge both Arthmoor's and Skyking's version but they have more in common than i thought, so its more work than choosing one of the two Inns, moving a few objects and edit a navmesh i think :p)
I was wondering about this (mod) patch for Skyking's version though, since its from 2018 and Granite Hill have been updated a few times since, including some nav meshes changes (see logs), so i m wondering if its the patch is still compatible. Any idea someone ?
