This is a revamped visual overhaul of Lydia, with 3 hairstyles for her you can change on the go!! Incorporates USSEP fixes, including gender anim fix and a patch is provided for Improved Follower Dialogue.

ABOUT:
This mod solely overhauls Lydia and hey I'd like to think does something pretty 'revolutionary' here. She can be switched between three hairstyles!! Yep, that's right! This is accomplished by having Lydia carry 2 'wigs' in her inventory:
1. Untied long hairstyle (pic below on left): This is her base hair, best suited when she's your stay-at-home wife or servant.
2. 'Gigi' = Ponytail hairstyle (pic below on right): This is meant to be used when she's in battle mode or when travelling.
3. 'Angele' = Bunned up hairstyle (pic in first image): A samurai-look. Just another alternative to the pony tail hairstyle.
She has also been fixed from vanilla to use female animations and will be equipped with the Whiterun guard armor set instead.
However, if you have you've already met her in an existing playthrough, she may still be in her default steel armor or whatever armor you already gave her to wear.
Ultimate Lydia will use your own body skin textures. I'm using Pride of Valhalla 4K in my screenshots but from my testing however, the appearances are also almost identical for body skins like Mature skin and Bijin skin.
REQUIREMENTS:
This time, NONE! Phew! This mod is completely standalone
INSTALLATION:
Extract to your Data folder for manual installation or use your mod manager of choice.
TAKE NOTE, IMPORTANT!! : I changed Lydia's weight from 100 to 70 here, so if you're installing mid-save you will get a neck seam. To fix, simply open console (press ~), click on Lydia, and type 'setnpcweight 70' then 'disable' then 'enable'.
COMPATIBILITY:
- Works with all mods including NPC overhauls. Just place Ultimate Lydia BELOW all other NPC overhauls in your load order and overwrite other mods' loose files to ensure this mod takes precedence for Lydia only.
- Compatible with RDO and all your follower framework mods like Nether's and whatever else
- Patch is provided for Lydia Improved Follower Dialogue, for those using that mod. I don't know of any other mods that edit Lydia directly but do let me know and I can make more patches.
- Fixes from the Unofficial Patch (USSEP) have already been incorporated into this mod.
