This ENB Preset is the result of months of fine-tuning. I wanted to make a preset that looks as modern and realistic as possible, while being performance-friendly enough that my mid-end PC could run it easily.

Before setting out to make Arc, I had used several other ENB presets. I loved the interiors from a combo of Vivid Weathers & Skyrim Re-Engaged ENB. I loved the exteriors from NAT with Photorealistic Tamriel. I loved the look of NVT's exteriors as well. I also played around with (what seems to be the most popular combo) Cathedral Weathers and Rudy ENB.
Arc ENB seeks to bring everything I loved best about those presets into one. As a base, it started with l00ping's NAT Enhancer ENB from the NAT Weathers page. It has been radically overhauled and fine-tuned over the last six months; including 44 different weather-specific configs, updates to work with the latest ENB Binaries, and more.
I'm particularly proud of how Arc looks in dwarven dungeons, on sunny days, and in taverns.
Recommended Settings (Required to achieve the same look in screenshots and video):
- ELFX should override NAT
- Disable Subsurface-Scattering, Extra Skylight, and Wet Effects in NAT settings. All other NAT Settings enabled. Adjust night darkness settings in NAT to your preference. By default Arc's nights are fairly bright, as that's my preference.
- TAA Anti-Aliasing enabled in Skyrim launcher (I'm an AA snob, and TAA seems to do the best at eliminating all jagginess. Use other AA if you like, but Arc will look over-sharpened with others before adjustment)
- By default, ENB's depth of field is disabled. The performance hit of ENB's DoF is significant. I use and recommend Skyrim's vanilla Depth of Field. Slide the scale all the way to the right.
Performance Impact:
(Heavily modded playthrough with DynDOLOD and many, many texture mods. I upgraded graphics cards recently so can report with both)
With a GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Interiors: 55-60 FPS, with very little stuttering
Exteriors: 35-40 FPS, quite a bit of stuttering
With a AMD RX6600
Interiors: 60 FPS
Exteriors: 45-55 FPS
