Adds an Inn along the main east-west road running from Whiterun to Rorikstead, just where the road from Falkreath enters it. A comfortable place for the player to rest, eat, and warm up, as well as being centrally located - thus providing the player with a good base of operations. As a plus, it is compatible with just about everything.

The Coffee House is a comfortable inn along the road from Whiterun to Markarth/Rorikstead, just where the road from Falkreath runs into it near a dragon mound.  Run by the Khajiit, Ah'vrie (known as The Cat, to his friends), it provides a stopping off point to relax, warm up, and maybe get some sleep when travelling.  And, due to its central location, it also provides an excellent base of operations for the whole central part of Skyrim.The mod itself is based off the Steam SSE forum thread The Coffee House, where many long time Skyrim players and forum members get together, and whose character portraits occupy the walls of the Inn (as well as "easter eggs" being scattered around).  But the mod is not just about that, it is about an inviting place where anyone can just stop in, kick back, and relax - all with a friendly atmosphere and some special foods to select from on the menu (and yes - coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages as well, plus free chips to munch on from bags, while supplies last).  Upstairs, on the table just outside the guest room, are two books that identify the portraits in the Coffee House with short little biographies of the characters, as well as a skill book containing some alchemy recipes, which gives one skill point in Alchemy when read.

The mod is compatible with Fall of Granite Hill (though there will undoubtedly be some navmesh issues) as well as The People of Skyrim V10 AE (including the version with the Hold gates - and again, possible navmesh issues).  If you are using UNP Clothing Merchants SE by Foaman, you will need the patch for it - Coffee House UNP Clothing Merchants Patch (flagged as an .esl).   Permission for patch as per Foaman: "If you would like to make patches for this mod (to publish), feel free to do so as long as they are addons over this mod (separate esps)" from Permissions and credits - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16807

Some things to be aware of - NPCs will not show you to your room.  When an NPC is scheduled to start a new package, sometimes they will not do so unless you exit the Inn and then reenter it.  There may be some pathing issues with the navmesh if you are using a mod that also changes that area. Any issues will be addressed in any future update (there is one currently planned by Avrie, co-creator of the idea for the Coffee House, that will add additional features to the mod).

If asked to overwrite anything, allow the mod to do so.  Also, some items in the mod will appear differently than in the pics, due to the mods that I am using, and based upon your mods (or lack, thereof).

HOT FIX:
Download and install PERFUME BOTTLES HOTFIX in the Update Section of the files page.  There were missing textures in the small perfume bottles in the 2 female NPC's room on the 2nd floor - this fixes it.  Just overwrite when asked. (Most may not have even noticed it.)


NOTE: The Coffee House should be placed after any mod that edits exterior cell -12, -9
