Great news; the wait is over! All cloaks and backpacks have been re-added to the mod, and seem to be granting protection values in Frostfall.

Wait in-game for 24 hours for vendors to repopulate their supplies, and you'll start seeing these items for sale all over Skyrim.

Huge, huge thanks to Ousnius on Nexus Mods, who single-handedly fixed most of my broken meshes. You are a generous wizard Ousinus!

SKSE64 2.0.11 users: remember to update PapyrusUtil SE 3.6b and overwrite old file PapyrusUtil.dll.

"Belt Fastened Quivers" or if using skeleton XP32 XPMSSE it includes an option for belt-fastened quivers.

Hello, i wanted to know if its normal that when i sleep in my tent now i dont have the message on top elft saying i have earned some camping point perks, you know the point you earn when doing a campfire with rocks too. Maybe it broke the mod when i cleaned skyrim masters with sseedit

Camping sleep perks points limited to once per day. Test by waiting until after 24 hours then sleep in tent.

Reviewing the script I only see 3 conditions that would prevent the earned camping message, (1) the once-per-day rule (which is based on calendar day), (2) using a conjured shelter--only regular tents count, and (3) if your points have maxed out. When you use a campfire to check perks does it show you have points to spend? If so try purchasing perks. If you can get all perks than being maxed would be the reason the messages have stopped. If not, I'm uncertain other than somehow campfire thinks you're using a conjured shelter. What happens if try another tent?

Conjured shelter ? whats that ? i'm using a 3bedroll leather tent, i dont think i'm maxed in perks i only have put 1 point in the starter and another one in gather ressource i think to get more branches etc. Maybe i can try a 2x bedroll tent. I'll try that later because im in project aho mod and i cant make campfire for now

In short, most likely wrong pack or another mod broke the pack's gear-showing magic-effect enchantment.

Be sure using a Campfire backpack and not a pack from another mod (there are some that appear very similar). If you have a Campfire add-on/patch that changes the backpack, such as allowing player to enchant the pack, that may break the gear feature (a limitation an experienced mod author would know how to work around). A Campfire patch that overrides the backpack list may break the packs, so try without patches or check for overrides using SSEEdit. The gear showing on backpack is a magic effect from an enchantment, so a mod that adds or changes magic affecting the backpack, possibly including magic overhauls, may cause the gear to stop showing.

Is it just me, or do the upgraded amulet backpacks not dynamically show the camping gear you're carrying?

I just upgraded my backpack and noticed it doesn't show anything any more, and literally the only reason I even carry a torch around is because it looks cool on the side of the backpack.

To the author, I am curious how you managed to make it so that the tent and bedrolls always show up at the top of the inventory screen when the sorting is set to alphabetic?

I figured it out only moments later: you have a space in front of the name text! Very smart, now if I can apply this to the Wearable Lanterns, I can circumvent a lot of tedious scrolling.

I'm not sure if this is the mod I should be asking this for, but I can't seem to be able to find Northern Hunter Gear anywhere. I seem to remember it was craftable on a tanning rack, but I see no option for it. Is it simply because my crafting level is too low? Thanks.

    Hello,
I can no longer get Campfire to work with the latest version of Papyrus Util required for other mods. My skyrim version is 1.5.53.08 (SKSE64 2.0.10)

Most all of Campfire in-game features work without Papyrus Util. For hot-keys and SkyUI profiles must have correct version of PapyrusUtil SE (v3.6 for SKSE64 2.0.10). Is that what you mean--assigned hot-keys not remembering or profiles not loading your settings? If so, re-install PapyrusUtil SE making sure it overwrites the old file that comes with Campfire. If you mean in-game Campfire features not working then re-install Campfire and then re-install PapyrusUtil SE making sure it overwrites the file that comes with Campfire.

For example, creating a campfire or collecting wood no longer works. Creating a cloak or stick still works. I'll try what you say, thank you.

Okay, before I forget again: besides having latest PapyrusUtil SE then also check the MCM key assignments, Try reset the keys for harvest wood and create campfire then check to see if the spells work. If so, and you want hotkeys assigned then try re-assign. If PapyrusUtil correctly installed the assignments will remember after next load.

I don't have the ability to assign a key. The options, making fire, collecting wood, are given to me as a power that I activate with the scream key. The MCM menu doesn't seem to work well either when I click on the different tabs. Yet this is the latest version I have.

I uninstalled it, cleaned my save and reinstalled it. It's working again ! Installing the latest version of PapyrusUtil is actually useless for this mod.

Buy or craft a tent (tanning rack). Pick a camping spot and go to your inventory and find your tent. Activate tent (not drop) to start tent placement and activate blue indicator to place tent. See Power spells to do things like harvest wood, create campfire, or create items. These may also be under Resourcefulness spell. See the author's website, skyrimsurvival.com/home/campfire/ for more info.

So, I updated from version 1.11 to version 1.12, and now my tent is a bit messed up. The camera for when my character sits in or lies down, is weird, being fixed in a single spot directly above my character, as if I was still in first person, rather than third person like it used to. Furthermore, the button prompts for the tent are a bit weird, with all the effects having shifted from the correct buttons. For example, "Pack Up" now toggles the light, "Sleep" now toggles lying down (proccing the weird camera), and "Exit" packs up the tent.

I made a patch that includes a fix for camera-in-tent issue. It's part of my "Eremite Camping" mod, but if you only want the patch get the "Eremite for Campfire Lite (patch only)" download. Alternatively you can use tents from Campfire add-on mods that do not suffer this camera issue such as "Tentapalooza" by Rusey or my "Necromancer's Camp" mod.

Will this also fix the buttons being misaligned? It's honestly the most annoying part, since none of the buttons actually corresponds to "Sleep" now, and I have to first sit or lie down in the tent before I can then activate it to sleep.

Also, I like the idea of your monk character on your website. reminds me of the Bow Warrior Monks from Total War Shogun 2 for some reason. If I wasn't in the middle of a frost-mage vampire play-through, I'd give it a shot. :)

Menu selections shifted positions ("buttons being misaligned") often caused by older Campfire scripts meant for older menu design. Check to see if you have older loose scripts in your scripts folder - scripts prefixed with "_Camp_". If using Campfire add-ons try testing without them. If you happen to have Chesko's Campfire Dev Kit remove that when playing as it will cause the menu issue notably with the Options menu.

All the menus work correctly in my game.

@Dracotore Thing is, I'm having the same issues with menus and those scripts are not loose in my scripts folder. This bug also happened when I updated from 1.11 to 1.12.1. I'm not using add-ons. The only Campfire-related plugin I have is the compatibility patch for Hunterborn (adds only a plugin and nothing else) and the Unofficial patch (which has been updated and no longer contains any Campfire references).

I have FallrimTools installed. Is there anything you'd recommend checking or removing from saves to remove this bug? I have no orphaned scripts, so that's not the problem. I do notice, however, that there are duplicate script instances occurring.

No bug here--menu misalignment happens is if script does not match menu interface inside plugin. The menu has changed for v1.12 due to change for VR ('Relax' instead of 'Sit' and 'Lie down'). Cause likely bad installation, or a plugin patch override (perhaps for language translation).

(edited after reading OP again): if selecting 'Pack Up' toggles light and 'Sleep' does lie-down that means new script (v1.12) running with old Campfire plugin (v1.11 or 1.10), or another plugin overrides the menu message. Re-install Campfire 1.12.1 making sure new Campfire.esm gets installed, or use SSEedit to find out if another plugin overrides Campfire.esm Message _Camp_TentMainMenu form.

On the other hand (as my earlier response incorrectly reversed) if selecting toggle light packs up tent and selecting 'Sleep' toggles light then have old script file (v1.11 or older) with new Campfire.esm (v1.12). Besides loose script, Campfire Dev Kit, or another mod author accidentally packing Campfire Dev Kit into its BSA could cause this.
