    Great news; the wait is over! All cloaks and backpacks have been re-added to the mod, and seem to be granting protection values in Frostfall.

    Wait in-game for 24 hours for vendors to repopulate their supplies, and you'll start seeing these items for sale all over Skyrim.

    Huge, huge thanks to Ousnius on Nexus Mods, who single-handedly fixed most of my broken meshes. You are a generous wizard Ousinus!

    The fire effects of the different Campfire sizes are way too small in my Game. The flame of the "Roaring Campfire" isn't much bigger than the flame of a torch.

    Does anyone have a fix for this ?

      Are you using any fire replacements mods?
      Or using any ENB? Try to turn off ENB (Shift + F12).

      No, just Texture Overhauls etc.
      I tried to remove mods affecting fire textures and different load orders but nothing seems to work

    Hey Chesko, been a long time user of your mod since the old days. Just wanted to ask: what happened to the mortar and pestle? We can make Enchanting Supplies, but no Mortar and Pestle? In the meantime I'm using Eremite's Camping to (eventually) use a mortar and pestle through their perk system, but installing a whole other mod for just one item that this one used to offer seems.. weird.

      Purchase mortar and pestle at all but one apothecary: White Phial, Angeline's Aromatics, Morthal, Dawnstar, Hag's Cure, Elgrim's, and Arcadia's Cauldron. So, you don't need Eremite Camping just to craft a mortar and pestle.

      Ah, I didn't realize it was only available via purchase. I was hoping to craft it using the menu Campfire provides. Thanks!

    Hey there,

    I´ve some issues with Campfire. It keeps preventing the Game from starting. Not even the Logo appears. By watching the steam library I can see that skyrim SE indicates beeing executed just to fall back to not to be executed, thus I wouldnt call it a crash as it does not even start.
    First I thought that it would have a conflit with some other mod, but it does so even when I start it alone.
    I´ve reinstalled Skyrim SE as well as Vortex, no luck...any ideas what will cause this?

    I have to mention that I want to use it alone without frostfall.

      The same problem. The game just won't start with this. Year ago, when I last played, everything was fine.

      Same problem here,
      You have one or more script extender plugins which failed to load!

      If you want this notification to go away, here are some steps you can take:
      • Look for updates to the mod or the specific plugin included in the mod.
      • Disable the mod containing the plugin.
      • Hide or delete the plugin from the mod.

      To refresh the script extender logs, you will need to run the game and/or editor again!

      The failed plugins are:
      • papyrusutil plugin version 2 (PapyrusUtil.dll, Campfire - Complete Camping System (Supports Skyrim VR)) reported as incompatible during query.

      Any help?

      It keeps preventing the Game from starting

      Make certain have correct Campfire installed. Installing Campfire built for original Skyrim 32-bit will prevent Skyrim SE from starting due to wrong BSA-file formatting (a BSA must be archived for SE and cannot be copied from LE game).
      papyrusutil plugin version 2 (PapyrusUtil.dll, Campfire - Complete Camping System (Supports Skyrim VR)) reported as incompatible during query.

      This will not normally prevent the game from launching, but did you remember to update PapyrusUtil SE and let overwrite/replace the PapyrusUtil.dll that comes with Campfire 1.12.1?

      When using MO2, is it okay to hide the PapyrusUtil.dll in Campfire so that the updated version from Papyrus is used? Or should I just load Papyrus after Campfire?

      To replace old plug-ins bundled with Campfire in MO2 with new ones, just install the new plugins and place it below the list in the left pane.

    Been having an issue with the Conjure Shelter, Lesser spell. I have the spell learned but when I try and cast the spell it goes through the motions (and mana) of being cast then nothing happens. It shows the spell being cast but no shelter is ever made.

      I looked further into the mod and for some reason all of my options keep resetting to disabled. Even my script amount used is at 0. I haven't seen this happen except on this one character. The amount of time it took/takes to "place" the spell shelter is a few real life minutes. It also takes quiet a long time to even place a regular tent.

      I did do an update of SKSE and skyrim to latest is that potentially the issue?

      Did you update PapyrusUtil SE? You may also try resetting SkyUI profiles in Campfire MCM, or use the Campfire Options spell to adjust settings. Latest PapyrusUtil.dll required for MCM profiles and hot-keys.

      Not much else in Campfire uses SKSE, so would normally not have an impact on item placement unless some other mod-feature slowing it down. Same scripts place items for spell and tent, so since tent placement also slow that tells us issue related to placement. Others have posted slow-placement issues before and reviewing older posts may help shed some light. Try adjusting placement thread-count, but it may not solve considering reports by others. Only happening on one character may imply something has happened previously on that save or the culprit takes game-time before issue can be observed. If an older save-game works fine, perhaps continue from there to find out if problem repeats.

      Ah hell totally forgot to update papyrus. I'll DL that right now and try again.

      Seems to have helped quite a bit. Not as smooth as I would like with summoning the shelter but at least it isn't immersion/game breaking.

    Hi guys.
    I'm playing a bosmer that strictly apply green pact principles. so i'm wandering if there is another way, other than deadwood or branches, to lit campfire, something like lantern oil or similar.

      Not that I know of, but know that unless you're playing a very strict role, the Green Pact mainly applies to trees within Valenwood.

      I know I'm pretty late to this, but I think you can light campfires using ruined books, which can also be turned into rolls of paper for tinder. IIRC, you can't level it up to a roaring campfire without deadwood or firewood, but you can at least get a basic fire going.

      You may use my Survival mode patch in Eremite Camping (16867) which makes campfires and travel cloaks provide warmth. Use the smaller patch-only file if not interested in the entire Campfire add-on.

    Sometimes when I place and start a fire , my screen get stuck in First Person Mode and im unable to move nor do anything ? any fix ?

    Do old add-ons for campfire still work for this version, assuming their assets and plugin are properly exported?

      Most likely will work fine since Campfire API remains the same. I've even reverse-ported one of my Campfire add-ons back to 32-bit without plugin or script changes -- only effort being the mesh compatibility. Naturally check if author has already update for SE (like Tentapalooza). Like you say, assets conversion would be the main concern.
