This is a bug the Sofia mod author has been ignoring for a while. To get the little nudist to stop waving her hoots around, you have to actually give her whatever armor you want her to stay in through the dialog choices ("I would like you to wear this..." is the dialog, I think.). Then she'll stop stripping down except for the feature I mention below.
What makes it a bug is that it is random when you fast travel or exit a cell she will sometimes strip down. If you trade items with her and take/return ANY equipped item (I usually did her sword before I found the fix above.) she'll redress.
Sofia does have a FEATURE that involves nudity. If you give her any booze as a gift she'll strip naked and start singing off color songs, which is great as a one-time gag, but like much of Sofia is pretty much run into the ground.
She's a great companion for pure mage run-throughs as she can keep the baddies off you long enough for you to get your defensive spells in place, but she grates on the nerves after a while-- and I used her as one of my main companions for almost five years. I finally stopped carrying her around when I installed a Serana mod that revoices her and it turns out-- she doesn't like Sofia. (Also, it turns out that Sofia's mod author intentionally added a "bug" by cutting her follower distance in HALF, which causes her to constantly run into you. The number one complaint on her posts page is her knocking people off cliffs or interrupting dialog by shoving the player aside. According to her mod author, this is a "load order" problem. ::eyeroll::)
Sadly, with follower mods now working towards interacting with one another, and Lucien and Inigo charting a new path that is the gold standard that changes Skyrim from a one-player game to traveling with a group of friends who talk and sing songs and act like actual party companions, the Sofia mod author's reluctance to fix bugs or update his mod is causing Sofia to be left behind.
just want to let user of this mod know, loading sofia setting (enable load setting when loading saves) when she is indoor may cause crash because of sofia common bug (crash when changing class or something).
So this kind of mod basically adds a MCM menu for the mods that dont have one? From where these MCM configs come from? I dont inderstood the description correctly.
