So recently, I rolled a Skyrim character that I wanted to focus on necromancy. The early game is fine: resurrecting a single body, then eventually two once you hit that final Conjuration perk. But something was missing. Just two undead minions, as a master necromancer? A horde only once a day with the Ritual standing stone's ability? No. I wanted more. Introducing...
Mass Resurrection is a spell tome you can buy from Phinis Gestor at the College of Winterhold once completing the Conjuration Ritual Spell Quest. Casting the spell requires a decent amount of magicka and resurrects nearby corpses for 200 seconds. You can have up to 100 resurrected NPCs in your horde using this spell.
Now, you may be saying "this sounds hilariously overpowered!".
It is!
I didn't worry about balance for this mod since it was for my personal playthrough. It costs roughly as much to cast as the other Master Conjuration spells - that's it. You'll have to figure out a way to balance it for your own character by roleplaying - or you could just go ham with it. It's your choice.
Installation
Download and install the mod with your favourite mod manager. I recommend Mod Organizer 2. If you're still using NMM - do yourself a favor and upgrade.
Questions and Problems
1.) I don't want to wait til I can do the Ritual Conjuration Quest/My character won't join the College/I want to get the spell some other way
Type in help "mass resurrection" into the console and add the item to your inventory via player.additem. One day I may add a small quest to this so that players can get the spell without having to cheat or go to the College. Maybe.
2.) The spell tome doesn't appear in Phinis' merchant inventory
Fast travel away from the College and then back to it. Provided you've completed the Ritual Conjuration Quest, the book should spawn in his inventory.
3.) This is overpowered
Yup.
4.) Are you planning to balance it?
Nope.
