About this mod

This mod adds a small animal den to the North of Whiterun named Dead Man's Refuge. Designed to be vanilla in style, the cave is lore-friendly, decorated, fully navmeshed, and set up for relevant radiant quests. Inside are enemies, some loot, and two journals which describe how an unfortunate trader met his end.

Dead Man's Refuge - A Vanilla-Style Cave

Dead Man's Refuge is my first proper mod. It adds a new cave North of Whiterun (see images) that is based on other vanilla caves. I am surprised there are not more vanilla-style dungeon mods out there, so perhaps I will make more soon. Please let me know if you encounter any issues and I will try to fix them.

Backstory

Dead Man's Refuge bears its name for good reason. A trader and his guards on the way to Whiterun took shelter in it to escape from a blizzard, and met their grizzly end soon after.

Loot & Enemies

Enemies: Two levelled bears.
Loot: One small chest.
Ingredients: A few White Cap and Imp Stool mushrooms, and some moss.

Compatibility

Should be compatible with almost all mods. Just watch out for any that edit cells (1, 5) and (2, 5).
