This patch was actually something that was brought up by someone in said discord's patch suggestions channel - it's not something I'll normally be doing, but who knows, maybe stuff will catch someone's fancy at some point.
Bethesda wanted to add Goldbrand themselves but then they found out that someone else had already dont a MUCH better job than they could ever do MANY YEARS PRIOR... so they deliberately break the competing mod... let's be real if a mod author did that same thing they would be kicked off of the nexus and everyone would agree with that ban so they would have ZERO support. they would probably face charges because of what they would have to do in order to break the other mod. meanwhile Bethesda can just update the game many years after release regardless of how destructive it is to the game...
This didnt work for me sadly. The entrance still requires i TCL through a cliff. Tried both versions. I used "More Infromative Console" to confirm that the cliff was added by Skyrim.esm.
Not asking you to fix it. Just a heads up. I decided to remove the mod from my load order.
Let me see if I understand this correctly. For those who have the Anniversary Edition, the Update.esm file is needed. For those who still use SE and have the Creation Club mod installed, the Creation Club file is needed. Is that right?
So the important thing to internalize is that there is no "Anniversary Edition" and "SE" - they're both Skyrim SE. Anniversary Edition just gives the player the creation club content. What's normally referred to as "SE" (read: the best of both worlds) is just Skyrim SE v 1.5.x, while what's referred to as AE is Skyrim SE v 1.6. It only actually matters for .dlls and things like that.
So when version 1.6 released, in order to support the creation club content, an update was released to Update.esm. Those changes are present regardless of whether you're up to date or running on "Best of both worlds." The ONLY case you wouldn't have those changes is if you explicitly never updated or did a full revert.
So basically, the Update.esm version is needed for anyone using Tournament of the Ten Bloods, provided you're not using the creation club content (even if you don't own it!). The creation club version is only for people who have it and are using that specific creation.
Yes I did mean versions 1.5.xx vs 1.6.xx when I was referring to SE and AE, apologies if that wasn't clear. And your explanation makes sense and clears things up, thank you!
than you so much for thiiis !! may i suggest another similar patch ? i found a similar issue with the mod caranthir tower reborn by dark fox and the creation club house bloodchill i believe this is the name ? the vampire one where you cant accesse the entrance when the both mods loaded ! thanks again and sorry if i'm demanding too much have a nice day
Generally speaking, I don't take requests - given the number of patch pages I've got, I get a ton as you can well imagine :)
This one was a bit of a special case because I use the mod in question, someone pointed it out, and I saw it as an excuse to procrastinate on something a bit more of a pain in the ass ;D
So nah, you're not being too demanding, but I don't have plans on doing so offhand, mostly because I don't use that tower. I'll toss it in the patch suggestions channel and someone may take care of it eventually, or you can join up and we can start talking through how you might go about trying to make a patch of your own to release :)

e: worth noting that it's PROBABLY not worth a plugin slot unto itself, and would be best served with a replacer for the original .esp on console.
