Changelogs
Adds clothing accessories occupying slot 58(left) and 59(right) that display one of the 3 main attributes, ammo count, or enchantment charge (right or left). Configurable in-game with 5 models of varying height to accommodate different gloves.

Where to find
All 6 items will be added to your inventory when you start the game or install the mod for the first time. All the items can also be crafted for free at a blacksmith forge. Type help gauge in the console for the item id.

How to use
Equip either or both of the accessories in your armor inventory. A pop-up menu will allow you to choose which stat you want to display, as well as the distance from the back of your hand. Select None for the second stat if you only want 1 meter.

New in version 1.6:

  • To address performance concerns, I increased the time between updates from 0.2s to 1 second. If you use the "multi-rings" meter you probably want to decrease it again, since these rings can only change one at a time per update.
  • You can customize the updatePeriod setting in the new settings.ini located at Data\SKSE\plugins\SoulGauge\. The settings file is read when you load a savegame.
  • All of the items are now added to inventory on game start, mod install, or version upgrade. Change the giveItems setting in the .ini to 0 to prevent this.
  • Fixed some minor bugs.
  • I have tried to keep this version compatible with previous ones and I tested on an old save with no errors, but upgrade mid-save at your own risk.
  • Added prerequisite: PapyrusUtil SE - Modders Scripting Utility Functions

New in version 1.5:

  • Added a patch for double glow under Optional Files. Overwrites the meshes from the main file.
  • For shield-users or those looking for something more subtle, thumb rings and ring sets have been added. They can be crafted for free at a Blacksmith Forge.
  • These items use the same slots as the medallion (58 for left, 59 for right) and can be equipped with normal rings (might be some clipping).

New in version 1.4:
  • Weapon Enchantment Charge: Purple bar shows soul charge of either left or right weapon. A vanilla bug causes the percentage to reset to 100 every time you equip an enchanted weapon, regardless of its actual charge. Enchanted Weapon Charge Fix solves that but the latest version is not compatible with VR (use 1.1 under old files).

  • Ammunition Count: Since this can't be expressed as a percentage, I opted for 2 arrows/gem (4 for the rings) on the meter. Only counts equipped ammunition.

FAQ
Is there a non-VR version?

Compatibility

Requires VRIK, should be compatible with everything.

The model uses the vanilla Amulet of Mara texture so it will be affected by mods that re-texture that.

There are certain gauntlets that won't work for this e.g. Daedric; I have no plans to make custom models for every armor but I included the Blender file if you want to move the amulet around.
