Bounty Quests Redone
Description
This mod adds a new way to do bounty quests, while also allowing you to do many things:
- You can choose the bounty's type and location.
- You can start as many bounty quests as you want.
- Each location had a "difficulty" assigned to it, meaning that certain locations will grant you a higher reward. (See below for more details.)
- Bandit, Forsworn and Giant bounties are available straight away, Dragon bounties become available by progressing in the Main Quest.
Bounty difficulty and rewards
As I said above, this mod assigns a difficulty for each location, those being:
- "Novice": For locations with 1-3 enemies; Default reward amount: 100 gold coins.
- "Apprentice": For locations with 4-5 enemies; Default reward amount: 200 gold coins.
- "Adept": For locations with 6-7 enemies; Default reward amount: 300 gold coins.
- "Expert": For locations with 8-9 enemies; Default reward amount: 400 gold coins.
- "Master": For locations with 10+ enemies or giant camps; Default reward amount: 500 gold coins.
- "Legendary": For locations with a dragon on it; Default reward amount: 1000 gold coins.
Customization
This mod also comes with a MCM to allow certain customizations:
- "Disable bounty letters", Disabled by default: (Disable the generation of thoseuseless not-so-useful notes that can easily fill our inventory.)
- "Disable vanilla bounties", Enabled by default: (Although this mod aims to rework the vanilla system, it does not overwrite it and can be used alongside it with no problems, disabling this option would simply enable them back.)
- Change the reward amount for each difficulty.
- Change the difficulty of each location.
Compatibility
There is a very small chance that this mod could conflict with other mods that change the way vanilla bounty quests work (Mods that do a simply reward change, for example, wouldn't cause any conflicts.)
This mod also comes with innate compatibility for the following mods, without the need of patches:
Requiem - The Roleplaying Overhaul by The Requiem Dungeon Masters
( Changes the difficulty on certain locations and increase the default reward amounts to match Requiem's. )
3Tweaks, BTweaks and FTweaks maintained by havochot
( Changes the difficulty assigned to Orotheim and adds potions of insight as quest rewards. )
A patch is available for the following mod:
More Bandit Camps by skillest
( Includes all of MBC camps to the quest catalogue. )
Please endorse the original mods!
