I'm not sure how I accomplished creating the problem I did, but in case anyone else finds themselves in the same shoes..
(Using MO2) I installed Simply Bigger Trees SE and this mod HQ Tree Bark, generated LOD, everything looked great. I decided to go a different direction, removed the LOD files, removed SBT SE, left HQ Tree Bark installed, regenerated new LOD files, started a new save and.. The trees were still big. Only after removing this mod, HQ Tree Bark, was I able to get Vanilla tree(size) back. What the hell did I do? Just looking for education
Edit: education found. This mod has an included patch for SBT that I left installed. Entirely my fault. Leaving this here in hopes its useful. Everyone, be patient with yourself when trying to mod lol.
EDIT: I guess I'll find out! :D EDIT2: Yeah, model catches non-existant light when in the shadows... particularly the branches. So, no, they don't include those fixes.
Wondering if anyone can give me some advice on tree LODs. Seems you cannot mix and match them, even if changing different trees.
What I am doing it trying to use green aspen trees with green aspens tree LODs. However, this means I cannot use any other tree mod that changes tree LODs even if I combine them and they change different trees. Have no idea why this happens but the LODS will look "off" for all trees when this is done. (they either look super skinny or look tall and dead)
Pretty much everyone uses DynDoLod to fix that because TexGen will generates tree lods... at least version 3.0 will (I don't remember if version 2 would... probably not).
Oh wow these look SO good! I'm so glad I "shopped around" so to speak when I needed to do a full reinstall of my mods instead of just defaulting to whatever I was already using, because these trees are incredible. Thank you!
I have a question : They are two LUSH Options. First a normal one and then one for simply bigger trees. Is it sufficient to just activate the one for simply bigger trees and are the first one obsolete in this case or are they two different things? When i activate both, does this impact the performance instead of just choosing the one for simply bigger trees?

-the tree stump looks like it's been cut with a chainsaw and the split logs are cut too clean.
The firewood and trees looks really good so i will pick and choose as loose files.
Thank you for making such a neat and simple mod.
(endorsed of course)
cheers

Do your meshes already include his fixes?

The bark looks amazing though.

Anyone know why and how to get around this?
Thank you for your great mod!
