Merry Saturalia everyone! 1.3 adds a necromancer-themed conjure, some placeable gifts, a new storage option, and a new follower tent. This is a very quick and dirty, "run all the meshes through SSE nif optimizer" port because I'm very crunched for time thanks to the holidays. Please let me know if any meshes give you trouble.
Please post any questions, comments or problems here rather than PMing. Thanks!
Also big shoutout to jonwd7 who was kind enough to help me through my own stupidity and added nifskope functionality to make the port to SE a lot easier. Without him, this wouldn't have happened.
I've just uploaded the long awaited port of version 1.4 of Tentapalooza! Update 1.4 adds a practical Wanderer's Tent, a Burial Cairn to sleep under, and some Makeshift Shrines that act like their real counterparts but are a lot easier to haul around. Additionally, I've added a previously missing crafting recipe for the Desert Trader Table and I believe I've addressed the shelter issue with the Conjured's Necromancer Lair (but please let us know if it persists).
Is it possible to use xEdit to turn a follower tent into a regular tent that the player can sleep in? The green one is perfect for my current character, and I've tweaked things in xEdit before, but I've never messed around with Activators before and I think that's what I'd need to edit??? Right now my best guess is that I edit the activator for the tent in question (which I think is xx482bc8) and remove the property "Setting_PlayerUsesFullBed", but I'm not super confident that there isn't something else/additional that would also need to be changed. Any advice?
I'm a little rusty, but I think if you were to rename the property "PositionRef_Follower1_Bed" to "RequiredPositionRef_PlayerBed", and then remove the existing "RequiredPositionRef_PlayerBed" (which was using the RusePosRefFollFurBundle reference), that *should* do the trick. After that it would just be a case of renaming the other follower properties ("PositionRef_Follower1_WeaponMainHand") to their non-follower equivalents, which you should be able to find in the non-follower tent Activators.
Great Tents..Love it. I use the Ashlander 3 bed Tent for me and my followers. only issue is a slight performance hit inside the tent, stutter from the lamps and clutter but its not a game breaking stutter lag. thanks for your work.
Really like the craftable campsite concept that this brings to campfire. One thing that I though was weird was the fact that you can pick up placeable storage items that are loaded with hundreds of pounds of loot, yet it still only weighs its base value while in your inventory. It's like a 'chest of holding,' but it's not magic, I made it out of some wood and iron. Is anyone aware of any fix or work-around for this? It feels too cheater-y to me. Also, is the small storage chest from this mod? I can't seem to figure out where this thing comes from, and I didn't see it listed in the description.
Regarding being able to move the full containers, it's a function of using Campfire's placement system; unfortunately I'm not aware of any workarounds for it.
Hey there, I just realized that the requirement was not to be IN the mages guide with 50 Alteration, but to be the *head*. I just want to check out these tents to see how they are, but when I searched `help "conjure lair"` or `help "memory of spring"` I'm getting nothing back. Are there some better keywords to search for the spell tomes?
Edit: Now that I'm actually specifically looking for everything, I'm not seeing any of the recipes for the tanning rack or in the create item power menu. Me thinks that this mod doesn't not work well with the current versions of things
Most of the tents/bedrolls should appear at the Tanning rack, while most of the other new placeable item recipes should appear in the Create Item power menu; I just checked, and they show up properly in my game.
The Conjure Lair spell tome is placed in the Soul Cairn though, and the Memory of Spring tome, while craftable through Create Item, also requires that you have completed the College of Winterhold questline. Their IDs are, respectively, RuseSpellTomeConjureNecro "Spell Tome: Conjure Lair" [BOOK:XX5EF605] and RuseSpellTomeConjureSpring "Spell Tome: Memory of Spring" [BOOK:XX621F10].
Following up, I think there was something massively wrong with my mod stack in general because a bunch of other mods that should've been working were not. Ultimately I had to redownload/reinstall everything from zero, but now performance is so much better, and this mod is one of the ones that started working correctly. I mean I always figured it was something on my end but at this point I have no mechanism to pinpoint what the issue was. But it all worked out for me in the end. I love starting new characters anyway haha. Also thank you for those refIDs!
thanks so much! playing on Deck is SUCH a pain without SKSE I had to trim my load order from 350ish down to like 14 Esps and a few dozen texture replacements.
Perhaps I'm just stupid, but is there a way to make the conjured tents stop sinking into the ground everytime their summoned? Anytime I summon them at least half of it is clipping into the ground and it makes it very immersive breaking to see
I believe there's an option in the Campfire MCM to turn off the leveling of tents and other placed items, but I don't honestly know if it affects the conjured tents.
I just found this today, this is mean, it's horrible, how could you do this to me, i thought i was done with campfire and then i see this and it's freaking amazing, how can i not have it now? but seriously, this looks so cool, can't wait to try it out and see it in game, thanks for sharing!
was returning just now and have read the term "survival menu" in the description atleast two times. maybe a duh moment but i'm unsure what that is, my assumption is campfire's "Create Item" Power?

The Small Storage Chest is from this mod.
