Harness the power of the elements and unleash a whole new level of fury from a distance.

This mod adds 17 new types of arrows/bolts to the game. These new ammo types can be equipped like standard vanilla ammo. Each ammo type has its own unique appearance. (quivers, arrows, and bolts have colored unique meshes / textures)

Many arrow types are good for pacifists or thieves while other arrow types are good for rangers who just want to watch the world burn.

This mod is an ESL and will not count towards your maximum total mod count.

ARCANE FORGING GUIDE (Available on Nexus PC version, not included in Bethesda.net PC & Xbox version)
Upon starting the game with this mod installed, you will be given a spell called "Arcane Arsenal".
Casting this spell will launch a menu that will allow you to craft arcane ammunition.

You must have the minimum enchanting level and magicka level to make the different ranked arrows/bolts.
Each time you forge an arcane arrow/bolt, your magicka will be sapped. You must wait for it to recover to make more arrows/bolts.
Additionally, there is a firewood and steel ingot requirement to craft each arrow / bolt. (more ingots are required for higher ranked ammo)

The "Arcane Arsenal" spell will also allow you to check your capabilities.
This will let you see if your crafting resources, enchanting level and magicka amount is high enough to craft arcane arrows / bolts.

This is also a good way for those focusing on the enchanting skill to make money.
You can sell the arrows / bolts you make to vendors and profit.

WHERE TO FIND ARCANE AMMO
All ammo types are craftable in the included menus under the "Arcane Arsenal" spell. (unless you are using Bethesda.net PC or Xbox version- no arcane forging)
There is a vendor in Dragonsreach that will sell you content added by this mod. (should be to the left of the entrance inside)
There is also a cheat chest on Farengar's table in Dragonsreach.
Lastly, you could use the console's help function or the cheat functions within PROTEUS)
The vendor and cheat chest can provide you a "Harmless Hunting Bow" and "Harmless Crossbow" that both do 0 damage. (may be good for roleplaying purposes)
I may soon release a SPID mod that will distribute these arrows across the world but for now use the above two methods.

COMPATIBILITY NOTES
Archery Gameplay Overhaul: you will want to turn off bleeding in the MCM. In AGO settings, toggle Arrow Wounds (Player) and Arrow Wounds (NPC) off.
You must do this as every arcane arrow explosion somehow triggers AGO into thinking an NPC was hit by an arrow and thus they should be bleeding.

I will soon make a SPID mod that will distribute these arrows across some vanilla Skyrim vendors and arrow leveled lists.
Configurable MCM will arrive in a future update. The barebone essentials are there and you can see it, but for now there are no adjustable options.

Didn't you release an Arcane Archery mod before? Didn't Phenderix Magic World have arcane arrows?
My previously released mods Phenderix Arcane Archery and Phenderix Magic World used to have some basic arcane arrows. This new mod builds upon that content and tremendously enhances it in many ways. New elemental effects, better visuals and new textures/meshes, completely reworked mechanics, new forging system and much more. Look at Arcane Arsenal as a completely new mod that has this previously released content as a foundation.

Can I use these ammos with the ammos that used to be included in your Phenderix Magic World mod?
You could but I wouldn't recommend it. I removed arcane archery content from Magic World in V.6.0.4.
