    About Embers XD, load ELFX - Hearthfire Light's meshes BEFORE Embers XD.

    About the load order with Embers XD and Los II, I have it like this:



    • Landerns of Skyrim II . esm
    • Embers XD . esp
    • Enhanced Lights and FX . esp
    • Embers XD - ELFX Patch . esp
    • LOS II - ELFX Patch . esp
    • ELFX Shadows . esp
    • ELFX - Hearthfire Light addon . esp
    • ELFX Enhancer . esp

    Thanks again for using this mod. I hope you can really enjoy the atmospheric feel I tried to create for hearthfire :)

      Try to install again. It can be simple engine bug, which dissapear after reload a game

    I noticed the sconces on the wall of the main entrance on both sides of the door leading to the main hall are uneven.  One is higher than the other side.

    Any ideas to fix this?

    It's not perfect, but it is kinda nice! I wish the wall sconces in the Windstad entrance would work though 😭, basically the only reason I went looking for Hearthfire lighting mods. But whatever, this will do, and I'll just delete the things that should be making light, but aren't.

      Its been an incredibly long time sinse I looked at this. Also ... there's a light limit. So I was unsure giving those sconces light would flicker with other lightsources. But hey, glad you decided to use it.

      😤The limitations of the Skyrim engine. 😞 Sadness. Once I do some cleaning up I'll be happy. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Certain things not giving off light (when it should) is just a pet peeve 🤷‍♂️

      Plus a lot of light sources added in extra rooms are on a trigger. So normally, I can place a light source. But ... now I also have to see what light source should be connected to whichever candle or sconce or chandelier. Which for the main room is already finnicky. Imagine all the other triggers for other rooms ..

    Do i need to choose the "no player home" in elfx fomod to use this?

      It's save to select it. ELFX never touched hearthfire to begin with :)

    Does this mod need a translation? I am playing the german version of Skyrim and I saw that EFLX Shadows has a german translation but not the Hearthfire EFLX here.

      Hey there, I don't have any NPC records or voice lines that need translating in the esp file. Otherwise as a nexus mod post, feel free to make a translation for that and reupload it if you feel like it.

      Ah I see, so the texts of objects will still be in the language that my skyrim is set on? so in other words this mod here doesn't really need a translation of any kind?

      Oh .. that I didn't think of. However, interactable objects might still be english. So, best to go into xEdit and check

      I am using xTranslator for checking if a mod is in a certain language. I don't know how to setup xEdit, I hope it is somewhat the same as xTranslator

    Will this be broken by the 1.2 update to ELFX Shadows?

      Yes i think too.. 
      I'm the porter of the french version of this mod on Xbox and I just made the update of elfx shadows on this same platform and the game crashes as soon as I start a game.
      I hope there will be an update of this fabulous mod soon
