Update file is garbage. Fair warning using CFTO and Alternate Start. Whenever I tried to take a boat to Tel Mithyrn game would crash. Also if I tried running to it as soon as I got near crash. Don't use it stick to main file. This mod is a great mod and what the update was fixing are only minor annoyances so don't bother.
Navmesh fixes which reduces the chance of crashes caused by the mod (low before but now it should be 0), and a removed lighting source to reduce the chance of shadow flickering.
Is the update a replacement version or does it require having the main version as well? I'm primarily modding for the Skyrim VR version atm, so, as far as I understand, plugin spots are more limited for me.
@Brickon, that was what I opened Comments to know...
I really wish people would tell you things things, kind of important. It's very hard to tell sometimes when a file is meant to be an overlaying patch or a replacement/alternative download. (Also annoying when a mod gets update and they don't change the download file but just put in a secondary additional download, and it can be hard to tell that to get the update you have to apply the update like a patch instead of a whole dl)
The answer seems to be that you only need the update dl.
I tried with just the update file as well and it did seem to be working fine. At the very least the physical additions (Guardhouse, Farm) are there. However the file sizes are different. It's just 0.5mb, but who knows what's in that missing .5 (prob just the removed stuff for fixes) lol.
I know I'm a few years late but I opened the base version in BSA browser and compared the files to the update and the same files are present. So unless I'm sorely mistaken, you should use the update or the original, not both.
Although correct me if I'm wrong but if you did use both and merged the two folders, it would probably still work, the updated esp would replace the old one and the bsa file would become useless but not destroy anything. I'm not a modder though so take that with a grain of salt. Does anyone know if bsa are automatically used when they share the esp's name? Or do you have to do call the bsa in the esp itself to use it?
Hey, it says on the description page "no need to contact me beforehand" if I want to make a compatibility patch. So I'm letting you know there is now a patch for my Tel Mithryn Interiors mod :)
It seems nice (and I especially like the idea of the dock with the CFTO patch) but the Ash Yams and various other things added to the exterior and docks don't seem to have ownership, so they can just be taken

Is this able to be added in mid-game/save?
Thanks
